Highly recommend!
If you are looking for something a bit different in The Lakes to do then book yourself onto Crags Adventures. Really fun jumping and climbing up waterfalls, although can be a bit challenging at times, but don't worry as Craig is a fantastic instructor and made us feel safe. All in all a fun few hours!

Awesome fun with the BEST instructor - Craig is fab, made sure we all had fun, learnt and challenges ourselves and gave us support and encouragement. This activity can be for anyone and will give you confidence and lots of laughs. This is a MUST DO whilst you are in the lakes. Anytime of year - didn’t find it cold at all - having too much fun for that!

Great fun in stunning scenery!
Despite heavy rainfall a few days before we had such a great day scrambling with Craig at Stickle Ghyll. Well organised, great expertise and all round great fun. Even for those feeling slightly nervous Craig’s experience and calm approach gives great confidence. Thanks Craig for a brilliant few hours in stunning surroundings

We have been using Craig and Craggs now since day 1 and have done all his experiences around the lake district, with everyone proving a highlight of our trips. Craigs enthusiasm shines through and only helps to make the day so memorable. If you want a great day out in the lake district, use Craggs, what's the worst that could happen!!!!

We had a blast doing the Coppermines Canyon today! It involved slides, waterfalls, jumps and much more. Craig was incredibly friendly, fun and very knowledgeable about the area. He made our first experience doing canyoning quite memorable and we will for sure come back for more adventures with Crags.

A brilliant few hours spent with Craig! It’s hands down the best experience I’ve ever done. Highly recommended to all! Felt that we were in very safe hands throughout and brilliant that you get all pictures for free!

Craig was absolutely awesome, he took us down a canyon and was both very professional and obviously skilled as well as relaxed and chill to be with. I can recommend anyone to go for a trip with him . We had a great time

We did this in August and it was brilliant. Craig is a brilliant host and made the experience a lot of fun. I went with my wife and two daughters, and we all had the best time. The kit was excellent ( I thought I'd be cold but the wetsuits are superb), and the various aspects of the experience, eg, the jumps etc are a lot of fun. Craig was a brilliant guide, it was such a pleasure to work our way down the river with the group and Craig had us all smiling the whole time. You'll not regret booking an adventure with Craig and the team - thanks so much.

Best adventure we have every do. My 10 & 12 year old loved it also and wanted to do it all over again. We will be back to do another adventure next time we come to the lakes. Thanks again.

I’m American and wondering how to translate a “scramble”. Is that more than a hike?

This is not a walk over loose rocks!!
You will do a small amount of walking but is more involved wading through water and jumps off embankment into river. Also depending on choice will involve climbing up waterfalls with harness and wearing helmet at all times for jumps. Not difficult walking level. But great fun

This looks like so much fun. I'm coming to the lakes with my partner next weekend for my 25th and this is right up our street, although I've no idea what to book on to. Not too sure on the difference of different activities?
Also do you provide all clothing? Apart from trainers etc

Hi there.
Really good fun, and although we went towards the end of October the wetsuits we were given were well insulated and warm. Fun and engaging instructor who loved his job. Couldn't wish for anything better!

Hi Sophie. Some are I’m sure but others don’t have access in the winter like The Big One. You have to take your boyfriend Ghyll Scrambling it’s the best thing ever! and Crags Adventures is epic, Craig’s brilliant. Message them on Facebook about what’s available :)
