A fantastic place to visit and re-live computer games from the golden era! A mind-boggling selection of games and consoles all instantly playable! Pure nostalgia and wonderful to re-live the gaming action with my little one. Within the premises is an incredibly organised gaming library archive. All staff are friendly and highly knowledgeable plus snacks are available on site. Highly recommended for a visit or even for kid's parties.

What a great afternoon out. They have everything from a Sinclair ZX81 to arcade machines, consoles and networked Quake. The library is an exercise in home computing nostalgia. Brilliant.

Really great museum with a massive selection of retro computers, consoles and arcades which are all free to play after the cost of admission. Staff were really friendly and know a lot about the hardware on display. A great place to visit if you're into your old gaming history and enjoy breathing in sheer nostalgia!

A superb nostalgic afternoon with so much to do. The first room is packed with a variety of consoles and personal computers from across the ages, all running with some of the best titles.
At the rear is a LAN room - running Quake when we arrived which was great fun and a blast from the recent past (although not that recent!!).
Through the courtyard is the real gem - a fully functional arcade with VR, Side by side sit down racing games, pinball and upright cabs.
There's also a nicely stocked and very reasonably priced gift shop with retro goodies as well as refreshments.
The staff are also superb, friendly, helpful and equipped with expert knowledge!
All in all, a superb day out and great fun for all ages.

Best random find in Leicester. Hubby and myself had the best time here. As someone who doesn't game much I wasn't expecting to enjoy the day as much as I did. All the staff we met were amazing. Great knowledge and were really friendly and patient. Will definitely be visiting again.

Worth popping there to relive childchood again.
Fantastic people running the place. Hours of chatting and going through computers from all ages.
Lot's of them are running software and gammes I could play :-)
Highly recommended.

Wow this place really is incredible so much fun and very friendly we really enjoyed our visit 3 hours went really fast. We will certainly be visiting again

This was our second visit and again it was a lovely day out for family and friends. Our party ranged in age from 14 to 77 years young.
We were there most of the day as we all found plenty to keep us occupied. The staff were amazing, fun, knowledgable and really helpful. Thankyou Retro Gaming Museum for a great day, we'll be back!

Don't let the title museum fool you, all the machines on display were made for playing and you can.
Great day for the kids introducing them to the games I grew up playing. Now they want to go back every chance they can.
Friendly, knowleable staff, who can tell you the history of many of the games and machines if you want to know.
Snacks and drinks available to buy on site, to keep you fueled up.
Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Our first trip to RCM and what a day it was! So many working machines on display, we had nostaglic smiles on our faces all day playing games on all the computers that I read about while growing up but didn't get a chance to own back then, and a lovely selection of arcade machines on freeplay. If you're a computer games magazine fan too, the collection upstairs will keep you busy for hours. Fantastic place, really knowledgeable staff - well worth a visit!
