Purchased a voucher for 6 people to use an escape room which cost over £100. As they are no longer putting on experiences I have tried to get in contact multiple times - via the form on the website, email & phone. No response. The email gives a bounce-back and the phone number is not in service. Absolutely appalling and I have no idea how to properly contact them to get my money back.

I booked this little adventure for my husband's birthday and it really didn't disappoint. We had a lot of fun and pulled us to work together, which is rare lol
The host was really friendly and practically gave us the answers we were looking for.
It really gave us the chance to use our brain with some pressure behind it.
I don't see how it would work with big groups as it would cause a lot of confusion but otherwise its great fun!

Appalling!
Let us book but when we show up it's closed!
Very disappointed, it was a birthday present totally ruined the whole thing. Dont even bother to answer phone or respond to email.

PLEASE STAY AWAY!
They are selling tickets to their escape room but the place has been SHUT for many, many months.
We bought tickets for a bday party and arrived and it was dark, nobody was there and if you ask the staff who work at the shopping centre, they will tell you that it has been closed for months and many people arrive and are left disappointed and their wallets lighter....
We booked on Groupon and it has been a nightmare to try and get it refunded, even though we have photos and other evidence... if you read Google reviews, many people are saying that this has happened to them and if you arrive at the venue, people are actually leaving notes about this too...
Please, save yourself the ££ and book a decent venue, these people are a scam. Shame on them.

Had an impromptu trip to Adventox on Thursday with a couple of my friends; rang up and got a hold of Jordan who was able to get our slot sorted in no time flat. Lucy was our host and was very clear on the rules of the room (we played Escape From Alcatraz) and confidently walked us through the new regulations and rules relating to their Coronavirus Health and Safety. The room started off hard but once you got into the swing of it, it was a really fun experience. Will have to come back and do the other two rooms sometime!

My partner and I escaped from Azkaban. It was really fun. Lucy the host was friendly and professional. The rooms were cool, the game was a lot of fun, got a little help from Lucy but the difficulty level of the game was just right. Thank you!

Excellent fun! Jordan was a great host and really helped with the hints...we completed Mission X and will be back to complete Alcatraz :)

Reading the comments it sounds like there is staff/ a host with you in the room. Is that correct? If yes what is their part?

Hi,
There are no hosts in the rooms with you. You are in constant contact with a fellow Inmate/Secret Agent whilst you're in the rooms only!

Hi, Unfortunately our rooms permit a minimum age of 16 in our Alcatraz and Haunted rooms, and 12 in our Mission X rooms. Hope you have a great day. Kind Regards - Adventox
Which escape room would you recommend to 4 first timers? What do you think about the new haunted room?

Hi,
We chose Mission X. We got out with only 4 minutes to spare but then we were 4 dizzy ladies.
I would have preferred to have done the haunted as its sounds fun, but that option wasn't available when we booked.

Anyone done the Da Vinci room at Escape-London (also in Shepherd’s Bush) AND Alcatraz here? If so, which is better?

The Alcatraz room was the best escape room I have done (have done about 8 o so). It was pretty tough to figure out and required a full team effort near the end. I would rate it excellent. We managed to get out with 3 minutes to spare but we were sweating bullets on it.....
Do you think it would be OK to do with a 7 month baby? (Not for her to take part, obviously. )

The actual experience is 60 minutes. you get a brief before hand though so total time is around 1hr 30.
Cost for 4 people was £100. but i believe the set price is £75 for the initial person then £10 a head there after. It basically works cheaper per person the more that are doing it to a maximum of 5 per escape room i was told.
