I did a private tour with Flora before heading off on a trip of Europe. I learned so much and travelling is giving the opportunity to practice my new skills. 2 days on and I have the most beautiful photos from my time in Paris.
I would really recommend a private tour before travelling for anyone who is using the “point and shoot” settings of their camera.

My son and I have just spent half a day on a Hairy Goat personal photography tour around the City of London, aka The Square Mile. Our guide, Flora, was informative, helpful and friendly. She showed us some really interesting and slightly different views of the City as well as the well know sights. We learnt how to look for interesting reflections and architectural angles. As a professional photographer Flora gave us some good insights, suggestions and technical advice. She was also very diligent in reviewing the images that we took, so providing really constructive feedback. Even though I have worked in The City for several years I am now able to look on it slightly differently and see interesting aspects that I may not have considered in the past.
I would certainly recommend Hairy Goat photography tours to anyone wishing to capture interesting views of the City of London.

Hiya Guys!
My girlfriend organised this tour for me while she was working in London. I met with Flora and it was just the two of us for several hours. She had huge patience with me as I am a bit of a novice! I really enjoyed all the places we visited and the conversations we had! It really helped me and I love the photos we took! Also seeing areas of London I wouldnt of otherwise seen! If you have a chance get booked on the next tour you see! Sarah

Spent an evening doing the non instructional photo tour, learned a lot about London, even though I’ve been here many times
I decided to do it last minute and even though Corinna was out of the country she was able to arrange for a guide at the last minute, went above and beyond
Highly recommended, would do it again

I wanted to say a huge 'thank you' for my Hairy Goat Mystery Photography tour today. Flora was a fabulous guide - knowledgeable, helpful, fun and extremely patient! Not only did I learn a lot about the city of London from Roman times onwards, but so much about my camera too. I felt that I became much more confident with the way I take photos and feel re-invigorated about photography in general!
If you are interested in the City's history and architecture, take your camera on one of these tours. You don't need to be a 'pro', just willing to give it a go.
It's a great way to spend 3 hours of your time ...

I had a tremendous morning's photography in London with Flora from Hairy Goat. Even though the weather was a bit ordinary, Flora found some hidden gems to photograph. I would recommend this tour even for the most well versed photographer visiting London

Did they saturday tour arond the city. Great walk with a very friendly and enthousiastic guide. Highly recommended.

Visiting London with your camera? Looking for a push to get great shots? Don't hesitate to book this, it is a small group with alot of personal interaction and fun while learning or getting inspired to take great pictures.
Booking from out of the country, I was hesitant since it says "no refunds" etc. Booking was easy, and communication and planning were perfect.
I booked the Christmas lights tour with Corinna and Flora. They were enthusiastic and inspirational. I definately would have been intimidated to go out on my own in the London evening and even come close to getting pictures this good. They know just where to go and how to deal with the crowds, security and navigating with a tripod. We even set up in the middle of the street (on a small divider) to get a great angle. I would not have had that kind of courage on my own.
Totally worth it and I will look them up again when in London!

I was bought the Night Tour as a Christmas present by my wife and I am so happy that I was. Our guide, Flora, was knowledgeable, informative and very patient with my ineptitude and fumbling with my camera, soon making me feel at ease. She took us to brilliant locations, both well known and those hidden away, imparting information all the way. Flora suggested ideas for photos and then ways to improve them - not by getting me to take them as she wanted but by asking what I wanted to achieve. This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour which helped me immensely and made me eager to get out and take more photos. I would certainly recommend Hairy Goat Photography Tours, and thank them and Flora enormously.

We met Flora at Waterloo station, with an introduction to our cameras and how to set them up so that we could learn how the key elements all worked together. It did not matter that it was a grey, wet day, Flora had some great ideas and tips about how to get the best out of any situation. Much practice followed, then reviews, followed by more practice in several different scenarios. Flora is passionate about photography and has a great way of transferring that enthusiasm to others. I enjoyed the course, immensely and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

Hello, is this just a photography tour or do they have a photography session.. Let me put this way.. We are visiting London from X'mas Eve to New Years Day.. We will be celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary there.. My wife is fond of collages and photos.. So I was planning to have a bride and groom kind of photo shoot in London for ourselves!!! So there were questions in my mind as:
- Is there any company who does so?
- Is yes, what about the costumes? I do not want to do the "Royal" photo shoot. More interested in a formal one with Bride Costume for my wife and may be Tuxedo for me..
- What are the charges for the shoot and the costumes..
Hope my wife doesn't read this or it will not be a surprise for her!!!

We run a tour, the Personal Photographer Tour, which you will find under Photo Tours on our main menu on the website. Please have a look and see if it suits your request.
We don't provide costumes at all. Any extra arrangements apart from providing a photographer and an agreed quantity of photos sent electronically, would be organised by yourself.
From mid December to mid January we close down for all regularly scheduled events, apart from personal events such as this. Our photographers, tutors and guides use this time to have holidays with their family.
If you decide our options listed on the website will suit, please send an email to us directly. I can't attach a link on this site, but you will find our contact details on the website.
We need your preferred date and location option. We will then confirm photographer availability and start the booking process with you.

Hello,
We often have the request if clients can be accompanied by friends and family on any of our events, whether they are instructional or non-instructional. We do charge full price for the extra person, even if there is no intention of taking photos or learning.
Through experience, we have found we are teaching and interacting with the extra clients equally, and we don’t want to be in the position of discriminating with the level of attention given. It isn’t how we operate and we want everyone on our events to have equal time and attention. As the guides and tutors are paid per person, it eliminates any potential issues with clients and the guides if all clients have paid equally.

We hold a variety of tours, each with different start locations, length of time and they can be instructional (a lesson) or non-instructional. The best thing to do is look at the website, where you will find a very comprehensive page of information for each tour or tuition option. Plus you can book and pay online via the website or over the phone.
If the website doesn't answer all your queries, please don't hesitate to email me directly. I can't place website or contact links within this answer but you will find the details towards the top of the Hairy Goat listing on Trip Advisor.

thanks for your query.
Each of the tours and workshops has it's own meeting location around London. The details are on each tour page on the website and are also included on the confirmation email once a tour is booked and paid for.
The only time we ever collect clients from a hotel is if they have organised a private tour and that is included in the arrangements.

Sorry, I answered your query recently, but it seems to have disappeared from the site.
