如同每个城市都有一条商业街一样，这里虽然店铺很多，大大小小都有。但是总体感觉没有什么很特别的，以至于我没有留下什么照片。如果你想购物的话，可以来这里逛逛。

牛津街的购物环境很好，不过我觉得这条街比摄政街更拥挤、更嘈杂。在摄政街的商店里进进出出显然要比在牛津街上要轻松得多。

这条购物街的繁华景象吸引了我，结果却令我大失所望。这里人太多了，非常拥挤，街上有许多阿拉伯式的自行车搭载着乘客，来回穿梭，完全不顾交通状况，真是太危险了。而且他们还开着收音机，声音非常吵闹，就像无头苍蝇似的。街道两旁的纪念品商店里也在播放高音贝的英国名族音乐，听起来丝毫都不悦耳，吵吵闹闹，非常烦人。我们几乎无法前行半步。在20分钟之内，我们看到两家商店里发生了纠纷，顾客向老板大声投诉，因为有一个人的钱包和手机被偷走了，另一个人的情况差不多，也是钱包被偷了，里面装着一些贵重物品。短短的时间内，我们就遇见了两起失窃事件，真是难以想象……在这条街道上，毫无人身安全可言。

这是一个非常不错的购物场所，我之所以这么说是因为这里有那些顶级商店，例如M&S，Prime Mark，H&M，Forever，G Star等等，顶级品牌Rado，Rolex品牌手表，许多折扣店和旅游纪念品。这是了解伦敦城市和文化的好方式。

这是一条受欢迎的购物街。我决定来这里看看。就像银座，第五大道，乌节路，斯托格一样。在路的两边，建筑物前面有宽阔的步行道。许多建筑都有美丽的设计。此外，许多著名的英国时尚品牌是从这里开始的。它们在这里拥有自己的旗舰店。

hi i want to know in london in 1 of january and in the new year day holiday that gone be in day 2 in 2023 the stores open normaly?

Hi, we are staying in London for 6 days in September. we want to be near to the main attractions, public transport and hips of shopping. which could be our best option to stay? We would like a nice, safe decent hotel without breaking our wallet. Any suggestion?

There are the big chains - Travel Lodge, Premier Inn - not stayed with them in London, but have not stayed in a duff Premier Inn.
Worked in London for seven years staying two nights a week. All bar two weeks were spent at the Point A hotel, Westminster (which is actually in Waterloo) - one of a number in the city, Small rooms but really good staff, comfy beds and power showers. Westminster doesn't do breakfast (vouchers for the Costa Coffee next door.) They've now got ones next to most of the main termini.
Couple of other thoughts....
- As with airports I'd check on a map where the hotel is, sometimes the name can be a bit misleading. Not a massive issue in London given public transport etc. but can be a fuss to be in Waterloo when you thought you were going to be in Westminster!
- Note you are coming from Oz - do you have something link 'Secret Escapes' specialist website which does offers. Free to join and some good deals on here for London.
-- Depending on budget and what you want... you could try one of the Universities. Early September students wont be back so places like the LSE, Kings College etc. let out rooms. Some of these are good. Though most will be self catering.
- London is easy to get around - so you could aim for somewhere a little different. I'd suggest Greenwich (pretty 'village' on the river - Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory, good food and pubs. Novotel is just off the station and a 15 min ride into London. Think it is zone 3.
- South of the river is usually cheaper than North...but don't go to far South as transport can be an issue

Hi - two options - there are at least half a dozen tourist 'hop on, hop off' buses (Golden Tours, Big Bus Tours, Hop on Hop off Bus) all will have routes along Oxford Street - best to Google.
Alternatively, if you want to use a public bus (you will need an Oyster card, but it is a flat fee per journey) Transport for London has an excellent website with a journey planner which will take you door to street. (Try TFL)

Oxford Street is a very long Road. There is a Sainsbury's supermarket near Tottenham Court Road heading east and a Sainsbury's supermarket heading west at the Marble Arch end in Edgware Road. Edgware Road is renowned for having a lot of small stores selling food to cater for everybody including halal and vegetarian foods at 24hr supermarkets. Hope that helps.

It is a lovely walk to Buckingham Palace and very easy to hop on the tube too and connect with any of the sights. You should both be able to get what you want out of your day trip!

Pues la verdad es que en Oxford Street no hay pubs, y menos pubs típicos. En calles próximas sí, hay muchos. Sin ir más lejos, en el área de Marylebone, pocos metros al norte de Oxford St, partiendo de la estación de metro de Bond Street, tienes The Coach Makers, The Red Eagle y The Angel in the Fields, muy recomendables.

Hola! Queremos recorrer Oxford Street. Por donde nos conviene hospedarnos? Sacando los hoteles cercanos ya que no hay disponibilidad. En qué parte de Londres recomiendan? Algo que con un viaje no largo, nos quede más o menos cerca

Buenos días en Londres,estando dentro de la línea uno del metro todo está relativamente cerca pues es muy rápido .
Si miras mapa del metro busca hotel en una estación cercana a Oxford Circus como puede ser Marble Arch
Si te alejas un poco la zona de paddintong está llena de hoteles y posiblemente a mejor precio que en todo El Centro ya va en gustos y presupuesto
