What a lovely evening! I was gifted a class on vegetarian ramen and gyoza. Everyone was so welcoming and Reiko made the class informative and fun whilst being very relaxed. My As someone who doesn’t know much about Japanese cuisine, I learnt a lot about not only the dishes but the flavours and ingredients themselves! I picked up some great new techniques and feel so lucky to have learnt them from a really experienced Japanese chef! The food was completely delicious and I can’t wait to recreate the recipes for my friends and family! Will definitely be purchasing her cookbook. Thank you so much again!

We took an online class with Hashi Cooking from Singapore.
Hashi Cooking gave us a detailed list of all the ingredients we needed to have prior to the class and then she walked us through the entire process, showing us how to make it via video and we could also show our cooking to ensure we were doing it right!
You don't need to have any hesitations about online classes with Hashi Cooking because she is so professional, helpful, and detailed such that our food tasted delicious, despite us have no prior Japanese cooking experience!
I highly recommend this to anyone!

Reiko is a very experienced teacher and you'll learn in one session whichever recipe you want to from her fantastic menu. Recipes are extremely clear, easy to follow and to get spot on at the first attempt.
I cannot emphasise enough how good the online class is and how much I enjoyed it. Japanese food is not particularly easy, but with Reiko it is much easier

We took the Ramen and Gyoza cooking class and it was great. Reiko was clearly a professional, the ramen we cooked was delicious and we came away with all the expertise we needed to cook Ramen at home.

Reiko was a wonderful teacher, the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting, and the food was really delicious. My partner and I learnt so much and can't wait to try out our new skills at home for friends, and family. We would highly reccomend the course!

Had a lovely evening learning how to cook ramen and gyoza from scratch, in a beautiful setting and with great company.
Reiko is a fantastic experienced teacher who will show you how to cook your favourite japanese dishes, in a thorough way and with a good sense of humour. Would 100% recommend

Hashi Japanese Cooking taught me the traditional way to make sushi - starting from basic and demonstrating the techniques of gourmet -- all the while washed down with a selection of sake to pair with each item of sushi. Her lesson was very easy to understand and to follow, and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to know how to make their own sushi!

I went to Reiko's Ramen and Gyoza class and left very happy and confident about making these two dishes. Reiko was very knowledgable about the foods and answered every question we had with ease- she is truly an expert with food and flavour. The class was inclusive and fun- you can definitely go on your own and Reiko makes you feel so at home and comfortable. She is very encouraging even when you are making the worst gyoza! It was fun to make things using your hands, a great experience and I highly recommend a visit!

A perfect evening activity! My boyfriend, sister and I have always been obsessed with Japanese food so we attended the gyoza & ramen class and had a wonderful time! Reiko was lovely and extremely knowledgable of her craft - especially when it comes to Japanese ingredients and sourcing them in London! It was the perfect mix of educational and fun for all. The highlight for me was learning to make ramen noodles by hand - a real game changer! Looking forward to using my new skills for my next dinner party. Thank you very much Reiko for your time, can’t wait to try your Sushi class next!

Dear Kevin,
I'm sorry to hear you are feeling this way. I always try my best to accommodate people's request as much as possible. However, I am running a business at the same time and there is a line need to be drawn. As I run a personable small classes, I only take up to max 7 people. Plus, Sushi & Sashimi Class is the most popular class and I have declined other people because the class that day was fully booked. Your wife called me less than 1 hour before the class. I obviously can not replace your place with anyone else at that point and not only that all the quality ingredients were bought for you. Your wife didn't mentioned that you attended the other class, but she asked to re-book you into Saturday class straight away which is even a higher valued class.
I often have people contact me in the last minute to cancel the original date and re-book future class with various reasons. The reasons are often family emergency, physical condition, social commitment, etc.... But usually people understand the reason why I can't accept last minute cancellation. I do allow to discuss the case depending on the matter, but generally cancelling on the day, especially 1 hour before is something I can't allow unless it is something very serious. You might argue what is serious? Indeed, people have different values and judgment and that is why I have a cancellation policy. I have recently re-booked someone with one day notice with no admin charge because his father passed away and had to fly back to France.
It was a great shame you woke up not feeling well on that day, I totally understand you were gutted. That is why I called back straight away to say that your wife, friend or relative will be welcome to replace you instead of wasting one place. Again I'm sorry that you took this is funny but this offer came from my sincere sympathy.
However, I'm grateful you mentioned the Ramen & Gyoza class you took first was "good" and thank you for your comment. I do hope you will enjoy cooking the dishes you learned.
