Everything you want in a pub - friendly service, nice ambiance, lovely food and good drinks. We came as a family of four and all the food was really nice - kids enjoyed their pizza and burger whilst we ate the risotto and a pizza. All very tasty and no complaints and prices reasonable. Would definitely visit again.

We thought this place did nice roast dinners when we booked a table but the menu was an indesiferable mess of 'Chicken boobs' and other sorry attempts at humour. In reality it was mostly rubber chicken in buns with chips and slaw on the side. Absolutely nothing for vegetarians (except chips, of course). 10% service charge added but the overworked waitress was also pulling pints and far too busy to bring drinks to the table.
It's a nice pub and we'll come and drink here again... but the food? Forget it.

Drink here often. Great friendly staff, always a good pint and weekly entertainment. Good garden when we have the weather and a heated area for when we don't.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay here for my 33rd birthday with my girlfriend. The price of the room was good, the facilities were very modern and clean, great power shower, 4 nice pillows on a very comfy double bed and a TV in the room. We could also make tea outside our room for free and breakfast was included however I did not wake up in time I intend to tomorrow tho.
The kitchen has a nice menu, I had the best mixed grill I've had in a long time and my gf had the mushroom and blue cheese nocci.
Great old fashioned style pub and very friendly atmosphere with great bar and kitchen staff. Been so happy here and felt very welcome. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks guys,

Great pub just tucked away down the back roads a short walk from Greenwich centre. Friendly staff always with good options of beers plenty of nice ales on the pumps.
Eaten here several times not been disappointed yet, there's a nicely sized beer garden and live music and other events happening weekly.
Always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the Pelton a proper pub.

This is my local pub and I love it. Off the tourist beaten track a little, lots of life, music and entertainment. Beer is always well kept and offers a good variety of ales, bitters, stouts and some interesting lager as well as your standard "cooking lager". Good wines and spirits too. Probably not the place for a posh cocktail.
Always a good mix of people in - original locals, new locals (like me), some tourists and some people who travel in to see specific bands.
Got all the pub food you expect on the menu and it's fresh and tasty.
Staff are all regular and look after the customers well.
Great place if you are a tourist and want to visit a proper London pub. If you live in the area, it's a great regular visit.
Gets very busy and lively when they have bands in of an evening.

This beautiful pub hidden away in Maze Hill is superb! With loads of space and places to sit including Chesterfield chairs in front of an open fire, this is pub has a very warm welcoming!
Showing live music at the weekends and a pub quiz midweek. It has a great summer beer garden and an undercover heated smoking area with Chesterfield sofas!
A must for any cosy pub lover for the winter!

Been drinking around Greenwich for years and can't believe I haven't visited before.
Friendly bar staff, great drinks and an easy on the eye decor. What more could you ask for?
Mix of ages, which makes for a great atmosphere.
All topped off with the fact there was an incredible 10 piece band playing that encouraged dancing.
Yes, it is a little walk away from the centre, bet let's face it Greenwich is pretty picturesque, so give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
I know I for one will be returning!

I've never failed to have a good time at this pub that stays open slightly later than most. Great music, good vibrations, excellent communal cheese board, darts. 👍
