Good venue! The drag was amazing, Dame jame was the highlight of the show- but the staff was super nice and attentive. The manager Lilly made sure we were comfortable and welcome at the bar! Would come back on my next trip and 100 percent recommend!!

Just don't leave your coat in cloakroom as they steal anything in pockets and they "cant find your coat" if it is an expensive one! Never again, the employees are thieves.

First things first, we love the Admiral and always make sure we visit for at least one drink every time we are down. Normally we have a couple on a Saturday lunch/afternoon when it is relatively quiet and relaxed. Saturday evening we had a rare night free and decided to go out for a few drinks and headed straight to the admiral to catch some cabaret. The bar wasn't too bad when we got there but within minutes of being there it got packed to the point you were constantly being shoved by people who had no self awareness. This was manageable though as it is always great to see a venue attracting customers. We had just decided to order another round when both of us suddenly got covered in what we thought was water, but only when turning round did we realise no, it was a mouthful of beer that had been ejected from a womans mouth whilst all her girlfriends stood around laughing. It wasn't just a bit, there was loads, the screen on the wall which must have got the full force of it was literally DRIPPING. At this time we decided it was time to move on. Don't get me wrong, we still love the Admiral, but have realised we prefer the atmosphere/vibe in the afternoon when there are not as many groups of "SWW".....

Authentic bar with fantastic drag.
In March I visited London and the AD and saw Sandra perform. It was so good we came back in April just to see her perform again.
The bar was brilliant. Friendly customers who are out to have a good time and enjoy life. Such an uplifting place to be.

This was my first visit to this fantastic pub and it's now a new favourite. The people are welcoming & lovely, the staff are fantastic and the cocktails (strawberry daiquiri on tap) are absolutely delicious. And then there's the fantastic cabaret show (Saturday night), which isn't to be missed. Thank you for a fabulous evening, I'm already looking forward to returning.

We love this bar. I live abroad and whenever I’m back in London I always arrange to meet friends at this wonderful venue. Great atmosphere with drag acts on different nights, great bar staff and overall a great experience. My partner has never been to U.K. before and his first time in the bar and he too thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks to you all Admiral Duncan we’re definately be back on our next visit 😀

Visiting the Admiral Duncan is now an automatic itinery entry for any venture down south for my partner and me. There's plenty of super high quality bars to choose from in the area, but the ace up the sleeve of the Ad-Dunc is the force of nature that is Ruby Violet. Yet another terrific show last night.. R.V. would be a household name hyperstar in any parallel universe. As long as she's owning that stage we're visiting with our tongues drooping on the floor like starry-eyed puppydogs. Cute, cutting, gracious, glorious and intoxicating. Bravo! ❤️❤️😀😀🤩🤩

Obsessed with Sandra, a must visit.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially Jabbey who went above and beyond to help me out when I lost my bag!

Meeting up with dyke friend ( her self description ). Not seen for 20 years. Decided to go for drinks here. I use a wheelchair and am wary of gay venues, which frequently don’t have accessibility adaptations are are often heaving so once in I’m stuck.
It was quiet. The bar manager got out the folding ramps and I was in. He was charming and helpful. The venue was quiet. We had a great 2 hour chat and catch up. Good beer.
At the end we both had to catch transport home. Again the ramps were deployed with a smile and we were out in the afternoon sunshine. After this experience I’ll be back
