Always a great afternoon taking a boat out with the boys here. Good value for an hour in the great outdoors, especially on a sunny day!

I went with my friend and we had a fantastic time, we were struggling at first but Jamie was so lovely and helped us a lot and gave us lots of tips, it’s great for beginners especially on a summer day.

Charming, helpful owner and crew, still remembered us from our anniversary, a family boating party there 2 years ago! Always a joy, and you can take your dog in the boat with you. Lots of fun, easy rowing distance, and you can get a cuppa, snack, or ice cream as well. Top day out in east London, based in the lovely Hollow Ponds nature spot. Thanks! Ruth and Jonathan

The staff went the extra mile to make our (adult) birthday trip special and we appreciated that. They were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. It was a fun afternoon on a beautiful part of London. Buying bird food to feed the birds from the boat is special too.

This is such a lovely way to spend a day with family or friends - highly recommend, we are lucky to have this in waltham forest its very special. The boats are all well maintained and looked after, the staff are lovely - very kind and funny and great with kids and grandparents alike. We've been going for several years now and boating round hollow ponds feels like you're in the everglades (without the alligators). Delicious ice cream afterwards!

We have been going to the boating lake for some some time now and absolutely love the whole experience. Staff are particularly friendly,especially the man with glasses who is always kind and engaging with our grandson Noah.

This was the 2nd time my partner and I visited hollow ponds and both times we were met by James who showed my partner how to row and navigate the boat. We had an amazing time and will most definitely be back!.
