Other circuits are better

Paid for 4 nights camping plus entry to the weekend BSB racing. No one directed you to a pitch so it was a free for all. No where near enough toilets and showers. 4 showers for females and 8 males. My shower was boiling hot one minute and then cool, my husband had a cold shower as these were operated by gas cylinders so I can only assume one had run out. All toilets were the portable type so the hygiene was awful by late evening, no running water just sanitizer but water was on the camp site so could have rigged up a sink outside them. Considering how many events are held here I was surprised not to see purpose built showers and toilets. Facilities for camping included washing up sinks, outside with only cold water so had to use kettle water to be able to sort of wash up. Loads of drinking water taps so that was really good. I can only comment on Friday and Saturday night as we opted to stay just two nights but the live bands were excellent on both nights. The marquee was tiny but luckily we escaped the rain, just a brief light shower on Saturday night. The bar service was good but most had taken their own drink and chairs. Only one food van on the camp site so selection was very limited (burgers, hot dogs and chips). Food was fine though. Nothing on the site open for breakfast which is poor, both vans moved to the main circuit so had to wait until there for a decent morning tea. The circuit has a mixture of proper toilets and portaloos. The food vans were poor, mainly burgers, fish, chips, hot dogs or fried chicken. One baguette van. Been to other tracks and had noodles, Turkish and pizzas. No funfair for the kids, just a small play park.
Summary: be prepared to pay over the odds for food and drink, queue for the nice toilets (circuit only), and forced to use stinky portaloos and poor showers on the campsite. The live bands made the weekend enjoyable though

Thank you for contacting us ,we appreciate all feedback, whether it be positive or negative. We are looking to put up permanent signage for next year, which will make it easier for everyone to see clearly where all the specific areas and pitches are and hopefully avoid this happening again. With regards to the shower; once we were made aware of an issue a contractor was called to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the campsite is also only used twice a year, so I’m afraid it isn’t viable for MSV to put permanent showers and toilets in this area. The size of the marquee we are looking to review ahead of next year’s event, dependent on numbers. The MSV Catering Department are reviewing the options for next year’s event with our catering contractor. We are also reviewing and looking into what we offer onsite for the public and children for next year. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Modified live at Snetterton, average at best, hardly any trade stands and not a Marshall in sight should you need any information.
Unfortunately not a patch on Brands Hatch events.

Great circuit for a fantastic day out

Easily located with clear signage and well laid out parking and roads. All staff polite and professional. All areas very clean

A Days Racings

Cracking day racing. The weather at times wasn't the best but when the rain came we were able to watch all the action from our car. Really enjoyed the experience with easy access in and out of the circuit unlike other race tracks. Toilets were clean so was no real need to leave the are where we were as was also a burger van there which smelt and looked pretty good. The coffee wasn't awful anyway.

Great facilities

We have been here for a track day twice in the past couple of weeks, we decided to test here as we have a race here the first weekend of July so needed to learn more of the track.
All of the staff from entry at the gate, checking in, pit marshals and stewards were very friendly and helpful.
The track was in very good condition and it helped that the weather was on our side as well.
Totally enjoyable and can't wait to get back out there.

Fantastic day out took my partner for the first time and she said it was brilliant lots of food beer bus and clean toilets were able to walk around the pits great views of the track fully recommended we watched the touring v8 cars and many more .

A great circuit for spectators

Snetterton is a fabulous circuit which offers a great experience for spectators. There are many viewpoints which offer great photo opportunities without having to look through catch fencing. It is easy to get around the whole circuit without having to walk too far and the layout makes for very exciting racing with plenty of places to overtake.
Trackside parking is easy and the facilities are good.The food from the trailers is ok if a little expensive, but that's to be expected.

Great access for close up viewing

We went to the Snetterton track to see truck racing. We booked grandstand seats at Murray’s bend and had a great view of the close racing. Parking was well organised and free, the car park marshals were excellent and efficient. Good signage around the track meant we found things easily. As expected between races the toilets were busy, but they were kept clean and hygienic. During other times toilet access was quick. Several vendors provided a wide range of food and drink at reasonable prices. For families visiting their were a range of children’s entertainment provided and some of this free - such as mini golf and radio controlled truck racing. Viewing points around the circuit meant that we could get close safely and take some decent pictures. The commentary was informative and easy to hear (naturally more difficult when trucks were passing by!). I would have really liked some large screens around the venue as at other circuits we have visited, but this is a small point, during what was a great day out. Entrance ticket prices vary from event to event, but we found our event great value. The grandstand was good for us but most people brought their own portable seats and sat trackside.

We came here yesterday for the truck racing which was my husband, elderly neighbour, my son and myself and we really enjoyed what we saw.
We thought the truck racing was brilliant but disappointed that there wasn’t that many races on with them and there were more cars. We don’t understand how this could have been called a truck racing weekend, I think a lot of people may have been disappointed as you didn’t see many truck races as that’s really all we wanted to see although we did enjoy the legends, BMW’s, Silhouettes and pick ups.
We bought a bacon roll at £4.50 but we couldn’t eat it was mostly fat and the bacon that was on it was like chewing through an old welly. The coffee was ok but it was instant at £2.20 a cup.
We parked in the disabled viewing area as we have a blue badge and thought it was a really good view to see the racing and it was a bonus being near the toilets too which I must say were clean with toilet paper, hot water and soap in but found a lot of people did only come down to park just to use the toilets then go again.
Next time we thought we would come and see the bikes as we haven’t seen them for a while and we really like them, my son has never seen them before either and yesterday was his first time at the track.
Last but not least I would just like to say I think there should be something on over the lunch hour on the track for entertainment as I think it’s too long and people get bored, my son is autistic and couldn’t cope with not having anything to do or watch during that time. It would have been good to see another event on just for that hour to pass the time.
