A lovely family day out in York where we explored places we had never been despite having visited York many times. The clues were just right, challenging enough and we were aged from 14 to 55 years. It was fun following on the what’s app and trying to figure the next challenge. Would recommend for some history and culture exploring York centre.

Really good scavenger hunt that took us to some places i never knew existed! Challanging but not overly hard and great fun to boot!

We came across this when we were looking for things to do in York. We were going to be exploring the city and found that this was superb way of exploring the city, seeing some things that we wouldn’t have seen and learning about the city. The clues were great but not too easy and the route has been very carefully considered to give you an insight into the best of York. We had a great time and it was much more purposeful than just wandering around with two teenage boys - they led the hunt!
If you want to explore the city in a fun and engaging way, I would wholeheartedly recommend this.

The treasure hunt was great fun and a good way to see the sights of York. Also some hidden gems that wouldn't know existed unless you had done some serious research.
The WhatsApp style chat with the clues and information was amazing. So simple to use. Great history facts and information about the Places you are seeing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting York.

A brilliant way to explore York, the puzzles were fun and the app was really easy to use. There was the right level of info and history when playing.

Very fun, good mix of easier and more difficult clues, great that it could be taken at our own pace and we could take breaks. We’ve been to York a lot and still discovered new things while doing this!

A great adventure to places you probably wouldn’t notice. We needed the hints to get us through, on a cold January day. The recommended pub stops were much appreciated to warm up.

A brilliantly designed treasure hunt that allows you to explore York and all its beautiful sights, seeing things you wouldn’t necessarily see or notice otherwise. We were with children (8 and 11) who loved trying to solve the clues and although they weren’t easy, it was still a great family activity and everybody helped. We took our time, stopping for lunch and drinks and spending a bit more time exploring certain areas so it was a full day’s activity. Would highly recommend on a dry day. Wouldn’t have been the same in the rain!
