An excellent day out climbing that was satisfyingly challenging, while remaining enjoyable and sociable. Will did a great job of picking routes that catered for our wide range of abilities. He's a great teacher, taking us through the basics of climbing and encouraging us all the way with infinite patience and humour. Highly recommended.

Half day MTB course for myself and a friend. We had very different levels of experience but Will had planned a great session, including both skills and a longer ride, that met both of our needs. One of us was a complete beginner but happily rode down some reasonably technical descent by the end of the session. Will was very encouraging and a great teacher. Would highly recommend his MTB coaching.

This was the best weekend I have had for a long time. I got to learn so much about myself.
Alison conditioned our minds in the morning, then out to start abseiling in the afternoon.
Adam and Matt make you feel so safe, they are really professional in their approach to help you deal with your fear of heights.
Highly recommend trying this course.

I would highly recommend Will. I booked for me and my son (7) to do an adventure walk in the Peak District. Will was very good at listening to our past experiences and suggesting a itinery for the day.
The day itself was really enjoyable. Will and Andy were both very encouraging and the tasks were well designed to challenge us, but also build confidence to take on bigger climbs/absails as they day went along. There was a great variety of activities, but we never felt rushed and could take things at our own pace and do things again if we wanted.
Will had a great knowledge of the area and led us to places we would never have found on our own. He was also great at keeping my son engaged, challenged and also safe.
In all it was a great day out that I would definitely recommend

Took the Fear of Heights course recently and, although I was anxious in the run up to it, I had a really fun time! Can’t recommend it highly enough!
The course is structured to work with your comfort zone, gradually stretching it so that by the end you’re completing challenges that would have been daunting at the outset - but it felt great!
Adam, Matt and Alison our instructors were all really knowledgeable and patient. It was great to be with such a supportive group who experience heights in the same way.
Definitely hoping to do one of the follow-up courses.

I'd been planning to go climbing outdoors for a few years, but didn't know anyone with proper experience. Great to be introduced to Will4Adventure through the Austrian Alpine Club training scheme.
Just had a really enjoyable weekend in the Peak District with 3 friendly strangers, in the safe hands of Will and Andy, learning by doing much more than I'd imagined! The routes were quite varied - we could try a number of different techniques and Will encouraged us to think for ourselves, rather than just telling us exactly what to do. Apart from the top roping, I also tried abseiling for the first time which was a lot of fun!
Highly recommended, if you're in any way inclined to give rock climbing a try.

Eventually got round to booking this course! Should have done it much sooner as it's really helping. Will is a fantastic coach and tailors his words and actions to individual needs - so don't worry what level of fear of heights you have. I've already starting to move my personal fear of heights needle! Don't wait, just book your date.

Will4Adventures’ “Overcome Your Fear of Heights” course was absolutely amazing and has really helped me cope with, and in many instances get over, my fear of heights – thanks to Will and his team, and all the techniques they taught me, I am now far more comfortable when at height, and don’t let anticipation ruin my day. I thoroughly recommend this course!
I decided to go on this course after nearly having a panic attack on the steps of the Meteora Monasteries in Greece in June 2022 – that moment made me realise I was not in control of my fear and I needed to do something about it, as I love to travel and visit new places, and don’t want my fear of heights ruining any experiences. I attended the course in October 2022, and it was incredibly beneficial.
The first day started with a “classroom” session with Brian (a specialist therapist in Neurolinguistic Programming), where we learnt about what phobias are, where they come from, and the impacts they can have. We practiced emotional freedom techniques, and other coping methods. After lunch we went out to the Peaks with Will and his team for some abseiling, which gave us first opportunity to put into practice what we’d learnt with Brian– and I was pleased to see it started to work almost immediately: I was pretty scared during my first abseil, but thanks to Will’s team’s encouragement and enthusiasm, along with working through the techniques Brian had taught me, I was able to actually enjoy a couple more abseils later in the afternoon, which was a real step forward.
The second day was outdoors all day, mostly at Stanage Edge, where we explored balance, climbing (up and down), jumping over gaps, scrambling, and some more abseiling. Again, it was amazing to see how much we achieved on this second day with Will and team – there were moments where I was feeling dizzy and not able to move out due to my fear kicking in, but I was able to overcome these feelings and more confidently complete activities at height by employing the techniques we were being taught.
Since completing the course in October 2022 I have been very fortunate to have travelled to a wide variety of places where I have been at height. Had I visited these places without completing this course I am certain I would have had a bad time, and my fear would have ruined the experience. But thanks to this course and the techniques I learnt I was comfortable at height at the following: the top of the Eiffel Tower in France, the observation deck and Devil’s Throat at Iguazu Falls in Argentina, the walkway on Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, the cable cars at the Cloud Forest in Ecuador, the skyway in Singapore, and the edge of the Grand Canyon and the bridge overlooking the Hoover Dam in USA. All absolutely amazing, and enjoyable thanks to being in greater control of my fear.
This is a long overdue review – I wanted to wait to see if this course had a lasting beneficial impact before writing, and I am so pleased to say that it has done wonders and has had lasting impact. It’s been pretty life changing for me, and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone else who suffers with a fear of heights. This will help you. Thank you Will, Brian and team – I would not have been able to comfortably go to all these wonderful places at height without your help!

That's fantastic and all the more meaningful from the perspective of someone who is looking back after a whole year of putting it all to the test. What will also have helped you with this journey is the fact that you have reinforced all the progress by getting out there and actually doing stuff. Well done! Will

I joined the Conquer your fear of heights (by climbing!) course as I struggle with being near edges, and modest scrambles while hiking. I’m a height related panicker and crier but wanted to try and overcome this to get the best out of a forthcoming trip to Argentina.
The course combined a class based sharing and hypnotherapy morning, with outdoor learning to boulder, and abseiling. I came to love the abseiling - though many tears were involved! - and Will was incredibly patient and reassuring and literally talked me down. I was surprised that I managed it!
The climbing (unroped) I found a lot more challenging, and while I made a lot of progress in stretching what I could tolerate it still sets off emotional tremors!
Our group had a wide range of needs but we all got a lot out of it. Everyone was positive and brave tackling their own triggers, and kind and supportive of others work on theirs.
I’m hoping to follow up with climbing centre roped climbing - so it has been inspiring. And the Peak District is a beautiful place to visit. Have a go!

I think you came a long way on those two days and I am so heartened that you are now keen to progress with your journey. Hugely impressive performance and I think with this attitude you will achieve all your goals for stress-free walks in the Dales. Many thanks for the kind words - and I look forward to seeing you for future adventures maybe! Will

Welsh 3000s with Will4Adventure was a fabulous experience I’d recommend to anyone fit/grit enough for hiking up & down Big Mountains on repeat . Communication was Spot On & group dynamics well worked. June weather was not at all balmy for us, Crib Goch had to be vetoed, but the day ran like a well oiled machine regardless from start to finish, with excellent, personable guides, who were all well acquainted with the route & 100% meeting needs along the way. It’s a tough long day but having the welcome party lit up in the dark at the end was an amazing feeling. Prepare to sleep well on completion!!!
