Great night at the greyhound stadium. We have been a few times. Food is always good, drinks reasonably priced and staff very helpful. Good views from the window seats. Only reasons it isn’t a 5 star is because of the amount of races that have withdrawn dogs and affects odds. Every time we have been there have always been missing dogs in practically every race.

Went here for a three course meal, drinks and to watch and place a few bets.
Greyhound Rescue were there on the way in. Had 2 beautiful placid dogs with them - gave them a donation.
Drinks reasonably priced and we got a 3 course meal for £27 each. The food was very good - and sides are always nicely done - carrots in honey and butter. Cabbage with bacon etc - always a nice twist.
You choose and pay before you go so they always know who is having what. This saves messing around on the actual night.
The staff were so efficient, polite, friendly and smart as always.
Only criticism I have is that as soon as the last race is over, the lights are turned off outside and it almost makes you feel rushed to leave.
This is my fourth time there and food is always good. Will return again and I highly recommend. A meal with a bit of fun thrown in - an excellent night out.

We went to Owlerton on a Sunday and had the Sunday Lunch Package. Nice food, good waiting staff, Patrick our "Betting at Table" staff member was great.
The views from our table of the track was great.
Our only problem was getting out the car park afterwards, it took us over 40 mins to get put of the car park so busy with Stadium goers and football fans

great atmosphere with friendly staff food of good quality as usual would recommend visit
the trouble is trying to find a winner then when you win you dont get paid what you expect.the tvs used to show each bet going on and the win ratio so you new what to expect on a win ticket. this sunday we placed a 2pound bet on trap 5 which won the announcer read the result trap5 was 7-1 wonderful 16 pound to come the chap came and gave us 10 pounds which is 4-1 stating that s what the tote paid so why was 7-1 announced he stated this was the bookies price the panorama room was full with people backing on the tote so why was the tote price not announced
on getting home i went on the main greyhound pages on the racing post and sporting life the price of trap 5 was 10-1 so there was 3 prices conviently the stadium paid the lowest price this as also happened before on a previous visit paid 3-1 when the price was 6-1 so please be aware you wont win a lot on placing a win bet on the tote the prices at owlerton compared to other tracks are cramped

A random family night out but had the mrn fantastic time. More information would have been better on where to go and what to do, but we worked it out.

We rented a VIP box for our sons 30th Birthday! Such a treat, the staff were lovely bringing drinks all night whenever one was needed. The tote runner was fantastic coming straight before and after the race to give us plenty of time to choose our bets for the next!
The food was delicious, we had the platters to start, (which would have been enough) followed by the Indian curry and sides! There was so much left it was a shame to leave it!
It was fantastic having the chance to view from our own private balcony area, right at the finish line!

Booked in advance for Sunday Lunch and pre ordered meals,receiving free desserts,so three course meal with plenty of choice and with reserved seating for £16 including admission and race card.Bargain.Arrived onto large car park (£1) and collected tickets.Through the turnstiles up to Panorama Restaurant.Seated by staff at a table with great view of the track.Bought drinks at the table.Placed bets at the table.The food started to arrive.Absolutely fantastic.They can't guarantee you'll win but everything else is superb and very well organised.Good to see that they give youngsters jobs also.Discover this gem.

Visited for Sunday races with a large group including 3 kids ages 5-7. Great value and fun with entry, food, drink and race card. Very kindly allowed us to buy a bowl of ice cream to please our son although we weren’t in the main restaurant. Only suggestion would be having something sweet such as ice cream or cake available with the burgers or even chocolate from the bar. Recommend.

My wife and I have been to Sunday lunch a few times and the service and waiting staff were very good. Today 03/03 we were in the restaurant and there was a medical emergency which resulted in us all being evacuated to the other room to allow the person to get treatment.
I must say that the manager was cool and calm asking people to leave and on our return the waiting staff were brilliant after the shock of earlier they tried hard to catch up.
Well done to you all as you were all very professional and you all done well thanks.

Soft drinks, hot drinks and alcohol, check their website, they have been doing half price drinks this month and if there are more than four of you, it is better to pay £10 each, before the day you visit, it gets you one free drink, two free bets and chicken and chips, oh and a free programme. Well worth it. Enjoy

Restaurant and exec boxes often get booked up early. Should be OK for other deals or general admission.
