Came in for food and drinks with the family on a visit to sheffield after seeing about the new menu on facebook. Ian provided excellent service and was very funny. We ordered 5 of the new sharing plates and the karaage chicken was unbelievable. Compliments to the chef (andy i think)! I wish we had a local like this near to where i live and when we come back to sheffield we will be sure to stop in for a great pint and a bite to eat. Keep up the great work guys.

Lovely pub on ecclesall road. Had the katsu burger, was lovely. Nice place to go for an after work pint or before town on a weekend.

Go in quite regularly to PB. Good for football, good quiz too. Food is good and never rushed out or waiting too long. Good selection of drinks especially gins and wine. Always friendly service, would 100% recommend

Great pub, great landlord called Robert who is friendly and attentive, will definitely be back. A great experience.

As the picture shows, this is what was brought to my table!
Steak was not seasoned and tasted 2 days past it’s use by.
No steak knife and given kids cutlery taking 20 arm thrusts to cut off the one piece I actually tried.
Steak breakfast? Dogs dinner!
My biggest issue here is that the “cook”, bar girl and general manager himself all think this is okay to serve??
There’s easier ways to make a living if you have no passion for your job.

The Porter Brook was never a regular pub of mine to go to, but after popping in when restrictions were lifted, I can safely say it is now my 'go to'. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (even if one of them does Everton).

Went to eat here with family, although there was only 1 chef at the time the food was out quite quickly with Julietta and the food was also very good for the price

Great pub with a fantastic atmosphere, even through these strange times. Everyone in the pub socially distanced, friendly helpful staff.
Big Fish & Chips were exactly that BIG!! Although we were missing our Pickled Onions.
If you are on Eccy Road, then you defiantly need to go in here for a pint or two.
