Where do I start, after sending 1st meal back as severely undercooked to being replaced with another inedible meal, then being told "that's how we cook it" (surely this should be to the customers liking) to be told "must have been a bad cut of meat", (surely if they know it's a bad cut of meet its best not to serve it) then to be told off by a member of staff who collected the plates that I should have complained at the start to which I answered "well I did that's why I was presented with another meal" absolutely disgraceful food and diabolical service.
Even a little old man who had a pie asked for gravy only to be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner from a member of staff even though gravy was included with his meal.
Overall an absolutely appalling experience.

Well worth a visit, informative volunteer guide who didn't intrude on our visit allowing us to enjoy at a pace suitable for us. The signage were helpful and suitably posted. Recommend

The interior of this church was beautiful, especially the ceiling. I love looking at all of the intricate details inside buildings like this. They really put a lot of love into the creation and made them a work of art.
Realised afterwards that my other half was wearing his inverted pentagram necklace, but he didn't get smighted by god so it was all good.

Whilst Shrewsbury Cathedral may be worth dropping into if you happen to be passing, it is certainly worth going out of your way to cross English Bridge to Shrewsbury Abbey, or, to give it its proper name, the Abbey Church of St Peter and St Paul. It is a beautiful building manned by friendly, helpful volunteers who are only too willing to relate to you the Abbey's history. Certainly worth spending some time here.

A nice abbey although St Chad was more interesting/unusual! There is a cafe there too if you are felling peckish!

On entering a lovely lady gave us some brilliant information about this beautiful building and it’s history. Also another free historic building to visit in beautiful Shrewsbury.

A beautiful building with lots of interest inside. Livers of Brother Cadfael will especially enjoy this place. Don't miss Wilfred Owen's grave in the churchyard.

Stayed for a week at the beautiful Woodpeckers Cottage in lovely Grinshill. Setting was fantastic with ancient Grinshill woods as a backdrop. Perfect for warm summer evenings stroll before either going out to nearby restaurants or as a stunning week of Mediterranean a BBQ in the secluded and gorgeous courtyard. Would definitely go again and highly recommend. Plenty of places to visit from Hawkstone Follies, to Shrewsbury Town itself with the armoury, prison and Abbey. Couple of hours away from Snowdonia if you fancy a challenge!!

There's a public car park opposite - plenty of space. Walking distance into the town centre. If you are staying overnight, provided you get back to car early next morning, the ticket covers overnight.
