The climb up to the ridge and various rock outcrops is reasonably hard going as very rocky but the view from the top is well worth it. We did the walk in a May evening and it was ideal length and time.

Awesome day hike, spectacular views! The trail is not marked clearly (atleast for our American experience). One access is from the Bog visitor centre. After you park the car, look for the viewpoint sign, and go up. Once you get to the stones, the climbing and views - miles of grasslands, blue sky - make it all well worth it. We went in Feb, the wind was strong, and it was fairly cold. Grab warm layers, and a beanie. As you trample along, remember that you are walking on stones 500 million old!

Amazing views
At one with nature
Hidden gem of a place off the beaten track with panoramic views of south Shropshire and wales in the distance lovely walks and stunning scenery and wildlife

Wow, what a view. Well worth the hike up. Started below The Rock, walk up and around then onto the devil's chair to the end. Was stunning even on a windy day with low cloud

A lovely drive with stunning views which became even better once we had parked the car and walked 20minutes to the rocks themselves.
Perfect for young teens and children to scramble on the lower rocks and, with adult help, the higher rocks gave a sense of achievement when climbed and perfect views of the surrounding hills.A perfect Autumn walk.

We parked at the Bog Mine as we wanted a little more of a walk. Sign-posting was pretty poor but we finally found a way to the top of the ridge.
The view up there is lovely, with lots of green hills. The jagged tops were striking.
The walk was not too physically tough, we went as far as the Devils Chair, but the walking surface was quite demanding on your feet and I would only recommend for those with no walking problems and even then with thick soled shoes.

Love it, great walk for all ages. Well prepared tracks and suitable for any able body person. Great view from the stones and my boys loved climbing all over them.

A lovely spot for a walk and the stiperstones are very photogenic. Shame the bog cafe not open as I hear that is good and worth a stop en route.

Parked at the Stiperstones Inn and off we went for our hike which is one of my favourites regardless of the weather. After our three hour hike we tried to have a drink at the Inn but it was fully booked so recommend you book a table beforehand.
