Awesome Walls, Longton, Stoke on Trent, is a building dedicated to bouldering and provides users with a great around experience of the sport. Staff are welcoming,friendly and helpful and the facility itself is spacious, as well as being compact. There are challenges for all,from young to old, experienced to beginner and rooky to expert. The centre is family friendly and provides expert tuition for youngsters or others unfamiliar with the sport.Routes are graded with familiar colours and there is, a dedicated cave and training area on the upper level. Cafe facilities such as drinks, and snacks provide refreshments. It is located just off the A50, has ample free parking and is easily accessed. Altogether a great facility for those interesting in climbing and bouldering.

We were gifted an activity pass which could be used against a taster session at Awesome Walls so we booked up. Our daughters absolutely loved it! They had Harry as their instructor and our youngest must have talked his ears off but he was very patient and kind with both our daughters. He never left the girls side throughout the session. It was just fantastic from beginning to end. We will definitely be back! So brace yourself Harry!

We were disappointed to find the holds were extremely dirty. The music and staff on the other hand were very nice and I really liked the gym area upstairs as well.
If the holds remain dirty when I next visit, I'm not sure I'd make a third trip.

We brought our children for the kids club and keep bringing them back. Both children love their new sport. It’s a pleasure to watch them trying new things and developing new skills every time we visit. Instructors here are brilliant and staff are very friendly.
They are in the middle of some refurbishments which will be finished soon hopefully. This will hugely expand the number of routes to try out. There’s still plenty to do now but it may be a little busier than usual.
All facilities are excellent, there’s shoe hire, lockers, restrooms and a very nice cafe. There’s also ample car-parking right outside.
It can be a bit tricky finding the place the first time even with sat-nav. The turning for the road leading to it is just after the exit from the roundabout coming from the A50; so, just take your time.

I booked a 1 hour induction for my 11 year old daughter and myself as an effort to get her away from the electronic devices that seem to rule her life and for myself to have a new challenge and get some exercise. The session started with a warm up and some low level traversing and being shown proper techniques for hand and foot placing , then graduated to the main walls where we were shown straight wall, inward lean, inside corner , outside corner and overhang walls. How to spot for your climbing buddy and how to fall off at low level and how to cool down after a session . After the 1 hour induction we were allowed to carry on climbing for as long as we liked. The staff were really friendly and the facilities were clean and tidy . There are lockers available to put shoes , bags and valuables . There is also a viewing area for family members that just want to watch and not climb. Hot or cold drinks and snacks can be purchased from reception, water is free and always available. I really enjoyed my introduction to Bouldering and more importantly so did my daughter ,( as my wife commented when we got home) she had a massive smile on here face . I would highly recommend this activity to anyone and its a great way to get kids of all the electronics and get some exercise, 5 star activity and a great place to learn .

Great people good fun and keeps you healthy better than any gym. Even if you never done bouldering before there are people that will help you and you can make new friends

Whent there summer 2019 had a very good time. The instructor explaned everyting and i was up and runing (or should i say climbing) in no time. They have a sitting area for a companion that dose not want to climb. Will also go again next year when i visit the UK
