I won a voucher for a taster session. I was unsure as very much outside my comfort zone. Very glad I gave it a go. The instructor was patient, positive and made me feel very safe. My husband and friend loved it and did really well. Thanks for making us so welcome and ensuring we all had a good experience.

We had a brilliant time learning how to rope climb at Kilnworx. The team were very friendly and approachable. They were willing to fit us in at short notice and gave us a session which was great value for money. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone new or experienced.

Attended a 7 year olds birthday party today, after originally beeing a very wary parent because my daughter has special needs and needs a lot of additional guidance and support. I explained to the instructor Olly, and he acknowledged what I said. Safe to say after around 30mins I was very much at ease. He made my daughter very comfortable and took special care of her. Making sure she was safe and had a very enjoyable time. She hasn't stopped talking about it since! So big shout out to Olly today. Thank you

Started going bouldering with my partner - Kilnworx is such a great facility and staff are always friendly and helpful so we have gone for a 3 month couple pass which is great value.
We have gone from basic bouldering to learning how to climb with harness, auto belay and now belaying.
Can’t rate Kilnworx highly enough and excited to carry on learning and developing!

We had a stay in Stoke on our staycation and looked for an activity on a rainy day. Thankfully we found this place! Our 8 year old daughter got an individual taster session for an hour. Everyone was very friendly, we felt safe and she enjoyed the session, climbing to the top after step by step introductions. We stayed in for a bit of individual bouldering and would happily drop in again when we are back in the area. Can recommend as an activity for a stopover on the M6.

kids club is brill. great place to meet new people and learn new skills. staff friendly and acommodating to all levels. its been great to see my children develop from total novices to competent climbers

I travelled over from Nantwich with 2 young children last week they loved the climbing however the building is visibly lacking in care and maintenance. The fixtures and fittings are extremely dirty and could do with a thoroughly good clean.

Thank you for your feedback, glad you're Children enjoyed the activities. We try our best to maintain the building, which was built in 1884 and we have improved it every year. We care about Wycliffe Hall very much :) We do lack the funds to totally modernise the buiding, being a not for profit only organisation. We will try harder!

I booked the Introduction to Roped Climbing , Belaying and Auto Belay for myself and my 11 year old Daughter. I used this as a refresher myself , but it was a new experience for my daughter. We were met by Jin the center manager who is very friendly and great with young and old alike . We started our session with Auto Belay and then moved onto Top Rope and Belaying with ATC Belay device . My Daughter and I took turns to climb and belay each other while being taught and supervised by Jin. After our 2 hour session we were given time to practice the skills we had just learnt . The 2nd 2hour session a week later started with a recap and then tying into the climbing harness and perfecting our skills. I climbed a 5a route with overhang to a height of 15meters before i had finished and was quite happy with that.We had a great time learning new skills and can't wait to go back .

Went with friends for one hour, we had a total of 6 young children with us. Everyone had a great time, well priced and the instructors were brilliant especially with the young ones who by the end of the session were confidently climbing the walls.
