Outside the 55 Degrees North office block is the Articulated Opposites statue. As you come off the Tyne Bridge onto the roundabout you can see the statue as well.
It's a bit unusual and I am not sure what it represents but if you (like me) like tracking down different sculptures then hunt it down.

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to Bar 52 ( Pilgrim Street ) and outside this great sports bar is this great abstract piece of street art .
Titled Articulated Opposites Sculpture, this sculpture consists of bronze curves blocks and hemispheres ,the work of sculptor Raymond Arnatty and unveiled in 1969 ,it was originally part of an illuminated fountain untill moved to this location, its a cool piece of street art, its unique, its fun and makes for some great photographic opportunities, most definitely well worth checking out if you're near Pilgrim Street.
