Loved the atmosphere and vibe here. It is lively and welcoming, perfect for a great night out. The pool and snooker tables are top-notch, and they have a great variety of drinks to choose from - prices were really fair. We did not try the food, but the menu looked excellent. Highly recommended for a fun and relaxed time with friends and family.

The Cask and Cue whisky lounge with views over the City Walls has the feel of a private club yet it’s very much a part of the Spot White snooker club. With a truly amazing selection of whiskys it’s a relaxing space to enjoy a cocktail, whisky flight or just a wee dram. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was laidback. I’ll definitely be returning to sample some more of the golden nectar…

Popped into Spot White and there had been changes! They have added another floor of pool. Amazing!
Best of all, a secret room, The Whisky Lounge. The bar person was excellent, Colette. She made my friends and I ‘New York sours’ Absolutely fabulous, who’d have thought whisky could taste so good! She told us about various whiskys from all over the world, knew her stuff. Some were a tad out of our price range but, hey, you only live once right.

I recently visited Spot White with some friends, and we had an amazing time! The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with plenty of pool tables in great condition. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making sure everyone has what they need. Whether you're a serious player or just looking to have fun, Spot White caters to all skill levels. They also serve drinks and snacks, which adds to the overall experience. A fantastic spot for a casual night out in Newcastle!

Went to spot white west a few months ago and decided to try spot white China Town and I was not disappointed! The new floor was amazing! All new pool tables including the Chinese 8 ball table! The whisky lounge overlooks the stack. The atmosphere is so chilled with jazz music in the background in there.

Spot White is fantastic venue, with amazing staff, they always friendly and welcoming. Fantastic facilities, amazing food, and a great atmosphere. The pool/snooker tables are in excellent condition and well-maintained. The drinks selection is great and the prices are reasonable, with the addition of a new whiskey lounge. Overall, a top-notch place for a fun night out with friends or family. Highly recommend checking out this pool/snooker club for a great time!

The food was amazing and great atmosphere however I asked to pay for an hour play and gave a £20 note, i asked for my £10 change back but that man told me he’d just put it down for a deposit. I asked for it back once more yet he almost refused and just told me i’d get it back at the end. I did not. I went up to ask how long i had left and was told i’d been playing 81 minutes. I didn’t get the £10 back as they had put me down for 2 hours instead of the 1 hour i asked for. I tried to explain that i didn’t ask for that long and i had asked for my change back yet i was told there was nothing they could do about it even though it was their mistake.

The OG pool and snooker late bar - best selection of drinks i've ever seen in my life, the food is exactly what the doctor ordered and the atmosphere is incredible.

Hey, prices depend on time, but never more than £8/hr for pool and snooker, you can just walk in however you'd need to sign in as a guest. Under 18's are allowed in before 8pm as long as they are accompanied by an over 18. Always best to call and book to avoid disappointment on 01912619253. Hope this answers your questions :) x

I usually call up and book a table to avoid disappointment of not getting a table. Im not a member and ive never had a problem. If there is any big events at the stadium or around the town id book.

What is the choice of drinks like? Is it just the mainstream (Fosters, John Smiths, Carling, Guinness etc) or do they have anything decent?

Hey Neil, on draught we do have Fosters, John Smiths and Strongbow (!) but we also have Dortmunder, a German Union Pilsner. In addition, we have over 400 different spirits, 30 brands of bottled beer and also a selection of ales and IPA's, including our very own Spot White beer. Hope this answers your question! :-)

It is a members only club however guests are welcome before 11PM however there is a nominal guest charge of £1 before 6pm and £2 thereafter. If you mention to the bar staff when you come in that it's your first visit they may even knock off the entry charges so you can try the place ;)
