Had a very enjoyable time at the Court House visitor centre. Lots of boards with information about the history of Warwick, the people living in the area. Also a model of East gate down to Smith Street, with a tram line. Lots of local artists have items for sale, very different and unusual pieces. Plenty of information about walks, talks and what is taking place in Warwick. Very helpful staff, definitely worth a visit. You might even get to see the ballroom (see photos) Has a beautiful garden also.

We visited on Remembrance Sunday so the famous ballroom was filled with dignitaries but they were very friendly and didn't mind us looking round.

Paula gave us a fascinating, informative and evocative tour of the old Court House and the immediate vicinity, painting for us a vivid and lingering picture of how this area of the Town would have looked hundreds of years ago and the different purposes that it served. This is now one of my favourite areas of Warwick as I feel that I know so much about it. Paula brought the building, the locality and the various people of note connected to the old Court House alive in our minds, immersing us in its fascinating history and imparting lots of facts and stories that I will remember and share for a long time. A Saturday morning wonderfully spent, thank you.

Sadly this is only open by appointment or during Heritage week every year but put it in your diary because it is well worth a visit, to go and sit in court or the dungeons.

This building is very important in relation to Warwick and the criminals. It was still used in 21st century but is amazing based on what is visible. Lack of space and old fashion rooms were prominent. Get to see the cells as well worth a trip if can when visiting the county town if Warwick

In dem alten Gerichtsgebäude wird heute nicht mehr Recht gesprochen, sondern das Volk mit Informationen versorgt. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und sehr kundig.

The old court house is home to the visitors center as well as a military museum in its basement. The ladies there were very helpful and they have a small selection of brochures.

We got married here last year. Beautiful venue for a wonderful occasion. I'd often seen newly married couples having their photos taken in the garden at the back and now it was our turn!
The gardens are small but very pleasant, with several huge trees, neat flower beds, nice lawn and views of the castle.
Back to the venue: beautifully decorated, peaceful atmosphere, lovely staff.

Situated in a prominent position on Jury Street, the Old Courthouse is a fine Georgian building built after the Great Fire of Warwick in 1694 destroyed the previous building, along with much of the town.
Importantly, today it houses the tourist information office with helpful staff who helped not only with tourist information but also on other services and shops we wanted to find when in Warwick.
