Thank you to the ladies behind the counter who watched my bag while I walked around the circle. I was trying to meet a friend from nearby Marlborough to give her some of the contents, but it was heavy and I so wanted to walk around the circle before she arrived.
I purchased 3 beautiful Moonstone pendants, plus some other items. Whilst I did my walk, they were beautifully boxed for me and were waiting when I picked them up. Avebury is a lovely place - so spiritual. The sound of the birds is magical. I love the staff in the little shops, so helpful.
You won't be disappointed in what you find in this little store - gift wise, and staff wise. Thank you.

What a fascinating shop for unusual gifts, staff are very friendly and there were some really unusual things to look at. I personally don’t buy in to all the new age stuff but there are plenty of other interesting crafts, books and jewellery to choose from.

Lovely shop with a good selection of books about Avebury, wonderful fossils and semi precious stones,in big and small chunks- irresistible! People serving are lovely.Go and take home a bit of local sarcen stone,your little bit of magical Avebury.

I visited The Henge Shop this weekend, decided to have a tarot reading with Ivan on the spur of the moment and I’m really happy I did! The reading was insightful and professional and done next to a wonderful view of the stones. I would highly recommend!

Filled to the rafters with all types of crystals, books and curios this was a nice warm stop after looking at the stones of Avebury!

We visited this shop today. My son purchased a few items with his pocket money. I stood beside him in shock, listening to how the elderly shop assistant said neither please nor thank you and grumbled her questions to my son. When I challenged her, she seemed either oblivious or uncaring that she had been so rude. We come to Avebury periodically. We will not be visiting this shop again. I suppose some tourist shops aren't bothered about manners as they aren't trying to maintain regular custom. A shame though, otherwise it's a very interesting shop.

Some people will love it, some will not. It has a good selection of items, mostly new agey and some weird and colourful hats if you feel you want to connect with the stones. Its worth a look.

We had joined the National Trust and so the carpark was free for us. Also we arrived after lunch and enjoyed a peaceful, quiet visit. I enjoyed walking around the standing stones and the old buildings. The National Trust Museum was very interesting and gives you an insight into the history of Avebury. Afterwards we had dinner at the Red Lion Pub which was typical basic pub food and also conveniently located.

Avebury is beautiful to visit however avoid peak times if there are planned events on as it is difficult to find parking once the National Trust car park is full
We visited this shop as it was the first one we found serving ice cream outside the shop and wish we had found somewhere else. There was one girl serving and took too long whilst the two owners inside the shop did very little except take payment! Waffle cones were very thin and the ice cream was literally plonked on top precariously. Everyone was moaning about it nearly falling off, people were pushing their ice cream into the cone which were then falling apart. Surprise surprise ours did, straight onto the floor! It was replaced although she did not apologise and I suggest her pushing the ice cream into the cone to avoid this.
I appreciate this is not a review of what was on offer in the shop however this shop sold the ice cream.

Visiting Avebury on an Art trip, popped into the Henge Shop to see what books and gemstones they had for sale.
Whilst its a very interesting little tourist shop, it is very much overpriced and aimed at the tourists, but still interesting to browse for free never the less!
Worth nipping in for a nose around!
