在英国待了半个月吧，全程坐火车，没想到这边火车是非常方便的。温莎城堡充满历史魅力！在trainpal买了railcard，最近输RC777F这个码还打八折，交通很方便，希望能帮到大家。

非常美丽的历史遗迹，穿过房间时会深深被它的悠久历史所感染，但是建议大家提前预约，因为人真的很多。对啦，顺便给大家推荐我在英国时使用的交通，我在英国半个月都是坐火车，真的很方便，而且在Trainpal上购买railcard还有8折优惠，大家可以去试试哦，输入RC777D就可以领取啦。

Is it better to watch the guards march into Windsor castle from town and then visit the castle? Or try to get an earlier ticket and be in the castle grounds for when the guards arrive for changing of the guard? We’ll have an 8yr old with us if that makes a difference! Thanks

Hi, I believe entry to the castle is free on one of the days around Christmas/New Year (at least that has been the case in the past). Does any one know when / if the entry is free around Christmas 2023?

Would probably be best to contact Windsor Castle directly. When we visited it was a Thursday and we were able to see doll house.

I just visited Windsor Castle and saw customers showing their phones to the staff letting in visitors. Do you have to print out tickets? It’s an unreasonable request for tourists to print out a ticket and it looked like you didn’t need to.
