Was here for a conference. Everyone was very friendly. Wonderful facilities - much better than my own university!! Has a lovely feel to it too.

As A Student Currently studying at Bangor University I can only say it is a very interesting place. Definitely worth a visit if you are that way as the main arts building (oldest part of the Uni) is very interesting and full of history!

This is a good old university, the part that is on top of the hill gives you a Harry Potter vibe as you drive through Bangor town centre.
We visited the university for a ceremony and got to visit part of the grounds, both the newer and older parts of the university.

Great place to stay if you are visiting your son or daughter at the university. the location is the halls of residence. The room is clean with en-suite bathroom. There is access to a kitchen. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s good value and in a so you can get around the town, university and train station easily.

My daughter would like to study here criminology and criminal justice. Unfortunately we could not make it to the open days, but we were able to get an appointment with leader of the course.
We have been awaited and lead to him, he has given a perfect overview. After this, they arranged a walk through the campus and we could see the rooms the students live, the gymn and much more. The people there are really helpful and I hope my daughter will have the chance to fullfill her dreams there.

Booked for a two night stay during a hiking trip to Snowdonia.
The accommodation was really good. Clean, tidy, lots of storage, secure and good kitchen facilities to reduce costs and prepare healthier meals during excursion.
The receptionist was also AMAZING!! My two friends were staying else but their hotel went into administration😨. They were left with nowhere to stay and having to pay A Lot more in last minute booking costs. She was approachable, practical and inventive in helping me to find a solution for them. Saying they were grateful is an understatement.
I would definitely think of using University accommodation again.

Bangor University is nestled on top of a hill on a peninsula overlooking the city of Bangor and the Eryri on one side and Môn on the other. The Main Arts building is perhaps the most recognisable and prominent buildings on campus and notably houses one of the libraries which looks over the city, Eryri, and sea towards Llandudno. The University boasts many excellent academic departments, recognised for their teaching and research scholarship, specifically in business, law, ocean sciences and psychology. Bangor is also a dual language school which offers university classes in English and Welsh.

Over 10,000 students attend here. It's about 125 years old. Great looking old building with newer sections and accommodations built beside it. Bangor itself is one of the smallest cities in the UK.

Looking for cheap overnight accommodation for one near Zip World, and came across the University site. Single room, en suite, kitchen facilities close by, tea, coffee etc supplied. Spotless room, close to restaurants, bars and Morrison's for breakfast - perfect
