Whilst visiting the area, we decided to visit The Sugarloaf Vineyard. We were not disappointed, stunning views, good food and wine. I did buy two bottles to take home as I wanted to support local produce. Rose wine was perfect for summer drinking. Staff are friendly. After lunch we had a walk on the Sugarloaf mountain, which I recommend either before lunch or late afternoon.

We went to the Sugarloaf Vineyard for a Saturday afternoon winetasting with extended family. Lovely location. Wine tastings of small glasses of 4 wines, usually 1 red, 1 rose & 2 white but staff were willing to adjust to our taste. The Calon Lan white was excellent, better than sauvignon blanc. We had mixed platters of Welsh cheeses & cured meats, salad, olives & bread. Very tasty. The venue was very popular on Saturday afternoon so booking is recommended. Parking onsite.

Lovely spot with great views we pre booked a table for lunch which I strongly advise. Plenty of parking in a beautiful setting service was a bit slow but it was Easter Saturday. We enjoyed the wine tasting and felt it was very good value the mixed platter with cheese chutney cured meats and bread and olives was very good the only reason I didn’t give 5 /5 is because a small bottle of Peroni beer was £4.50 that I thought was very expensive and there are only two toilets which involved long queues when it’s busy I also think the wicker seats need replacing indoor as they were uncomfortable but staff were friendly and food great definitely deserves 4/5

Such a lovely place, very relaxed and friendly. Food is just right - a ploughmans with local bread and pickles, with a choice of cheese or meat - a real feast

Fantastic views and a lovely setting with log burner inside. The sharing platters are tasty. The wine is very good especially the Blush. After lunch we went into the shop and spent too much money on the locally sourced goods ! Worth it though

Visited off the cuff Saturday afternoon, no space inside but the lovely waitress accommodated us outside. The location is stunning, amazing views and small stream tricking next to you as you enjoy your lunch. Service was excellent the lady serving us was in her later years but experience clearly pays off as she was knowledgable, quick and friendly. We order a wine tasting flight for £10 which was great value, along with a sharing mixed platter. Food was great, olives and chutney a highlight, the only reason for a dropping review star was the wine, it’s ok but nothing amazing, the limited edition was the best, I wouldn’t pay £17 a bottle

A fab chilled weekend stay here at the vineyard and will definitely be going again

Lovely sandwiches and cheese and mixed platters available with wine tasting, followed by coffee and lovely cakes. Lovely atmosphere with fantastic views of the surrounding hills and scenery. Friendly staff and great service. You can do a self guided tour of the vineyard (£3 for leaflet).

What a wonderful experience! Our first visit to the vineyard and not our last! The welcome from Asha and service by both her and Louise was perfect. The platters were exceptional and great value, and the setting and atmosphere were amazing. Thank you for looking after us. We felt so comfortable, relaxed and made to feel special.
