We had a great aqueduct canoeing trip with Grizzly. We traveled to north wales for our 10 year anniversary, specifically to canoe over the aqueduct, and unfortunately we were let down last minute by another company. Adam was lovely and very accommodating on the phone and he managed to get us booked in the next day! Despite getting absolutely soaked by the rain we had an amazing time and we are considering taking up canoeing as a new hobby! If you’re considering booking with Ty Nant then definitely go for it and don’t let the weather put you off, it’s a great trip! We will definitely be recommending you to our friends and family

Paddling at 38m high over early morning mist has to be one of the best and most surreal experiences ive had. 7 of us went for the half day hire and all wished we had booked the full day.
No hesitation recommending this company. They couldn’t have done more to make this safe and fun xx

Great afternoon, enjoyed it so much. Really easy to book and communicate with. Thank you to our instructor Grizzly, he was very knowledgeable and made the afternoon fun.

We did the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Canoe Tour in mid-september. The weather was beautiful and it wasn't crowded. The group only had 5 people in it (2 canoes + instructor), which was a good size. It was a very leisurely paddle across the aqueduct and along the canals. Highly recommend for a fun chill day out.

We rang last minute to see if we could hire 2 canoes for half a day. Andy was able to fit us in and we really appreciated it as he was busy.
He greeted us and talked us through canal rules before letting us loose. He was genuine, cheerful and honest.
We arrived back at the same time as Suzees group.
It was a really enjoyable few hrs on the canal and we would recommend booking through this company.

Did the afternoon Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Canoe Tour on 06/09/24 with some friends, and had an absolutely amazing experience. The guide was excellent and incredibly patient with us. Going over the aqueduct was fun and the views are genuinely amazing. I highly recommend this experience and Ty Nant Outdoors.

Completed the Chirk tunnel and aqueduct canoe excursion with Susie. Great instruction which worked for both the complete beginners and experienced members of our party. Simple and easy arrangement. Superb trip for both the adults and children in the group. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't recommend it enough!!

Fantastic tour making super memories. Our tour guide John, was excellent. He explained everything well, nothing was complicated. Very knowledgeable and made our trip enjoyable. The views over the aqueduct are spectacular. All in all 10/10.

Crackerjack day out in Llangollen. I have not canoed in decades, but the team at Ty Nant were completely comforting both on ringing before booking and on the day.
I wanted to treat my partner to a memorable experience for his birthday and I think this definitely fit the bill. Really felt supported and enjoyed our guide's knowledge. Highly recommend this activity and these guys seemed to be the best on the water on our day out. Loved it!

Had a brilliant canoe experience over the aquaduct. Our guide Grizzly went through the safety information, helped with getting us newbies comfortable with the canoe and rowing and was very helpful, chatty and knowledgeable. The views over the aquaduct are absolutely amazing and it was well worth the money! We were very lucky the sun stayed shining and we would definitely do it again!
