Picturesque views, great photos

Lovely walk and picturesque views! Walked along the canal up to the horseshoe falls, very photogenic. So peaceful.

Great views of river

Great views of the River Dee from the bridge. lots of photogenic views from town centre looking towards station and beyond. An interesting mix of mini rapids weaving their way down river. Viewing recesses on bridge allow you to avoid obstructing other pedestrians while taking photos and enjoying the view.

It’s all about the views..

Although the bridge itself is decent enough with several pointed arches over the River Dee and the railway, that’s not the reason it is one of the main attractions in Llangollen. The reason is the great views of the River Dee you get when standing on it. If you have a fine weather day then it’s worth going on it late afternoon as the sun sets upstream and the vista is bathed in wonderful late afternoon light.

Lovely old bridge which gives great views over the river the bridge gives safe pedestrian access on both sides with crossing at either end

mooie oude brug

Oude brug uit de 14de eeuw, die over de river Dee gaat, en het oude en nieuwe gedeelte van de stad met elkaar verbind.
Spectaculair uitzicht overeen soms kolkende rivier.

The views are the main attraction here, not the bridge itself

I'm not sure the bridge is the attraction, more the spectacular views of the River Dee in both directions. By lunch time on an Easter bank holiday the bridge itself was choked with traffic so best avoided.

Great Christmas experience.

The view of the river, and at night, especially from the Deeside restaurant! Beautiful to see both river and Heritage Railway side by side. A classic steam loco and carriages. Always a good visit!
