Visited in May 2024. Easy parking next to the lake to access for swimming. Other activities going on so you need a tow float for visibility if you are heading out in to the lake. A beautiful spot to enjoy a swim, a cup of tea and just to watch the world go by. Can get busy on very hot days though…

What a beautiful lake. We didn’t do any water activity and only walked around this area but even that was well worth it. Such a stunning view when the sun starts to set and even if you come here alone, it is superb to think.

Lovely walk around this beautiful lake. It was very busy however being on the edge of the town so not peaceful but the lake itself was pretty

What a great place to relax and enjoy nature , some of our friends are paddle board enthusiasts, we had a great time , the weather was unusually humid for early September.

The best lake in north wales for paddle boarding. The weather was perfect ,definitely going back to this lake.

This is a beautiful lake. Loads of people on it sailing, canoeing, even swimming.
We did a walk around the lake, although part of it was in woods and then a narrow road away from the water.
Easy enough to buy your lunch and then sit down here and admire the scenery.

Small lake just outside Llanberis where you can walk, hire boats etc, enjoy the scenery, walk or do whatever you like.

Great place to visit. Wasn't too busy. Car park is convenient. Nice and quiet. The view is beautiful. There are shops nearby.

It took us about 15 minutes if that from the parking lot at the side of the lake. If it's rainy, I'd get really good shoes, as the water does collect around the lake there in huge puddles.

There are picnic benches between the car park and the lake. This is a grassy area and to the side of this a small jetty to enter safely. We saw swimers. As to whether its OK I am so sorry but I can't say?

Yeah there’s a few. The circumference of Llyn Padarn is approx 5 miles if you follow the railway track. However you can cut through the woods or the road to Fachwen and back down to the Llyn or go up to bus stop quarry and cut through the quarry on the zig zags paths. Lots of different routes from 5 to 9 miles. It’s hard to get lost around there to be honest, enjoy 🙂

You can walk all the way around the lake, I live here and do it on a regular basis. You can walk round both lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, which is a 9 mile walk. There are a number of routes however my favourite is through the quarry between the lakes. If you need anymore information let me know, kind regards 🙏
