Not very easy really. If you park at the bottom of hillend campsite, to access the beach there are a number of paths through the dunes to get on the beach. Once you are on the beach you could push a chair on the firmer sand ok but the initial getting on the beach would be difficult.

No shower that I recall but there is a snackbar in the car park with toilets. There may be showers for the surfers nearby

Yes, there is a campsite on site with a small shop. I'd advise picking up your supplies before going though. There is a parking fee if you are just visiting. I think it's about £3 per car. Not sure about camping fees

Getting to Swansea is easy by train. You can take a bike; getting around Gower Peninsula is not that physically taxing and a real pleasure to cycle about. Bus services run from the Quadrant Bus Centre all over Gower. Services can be irregular so I recommend a cab shared between friends or family; the busses are horrendously expensive and slow and a cab always works out cheaper in Swansea county-South Wales Transport (or whatever they're called now) may be, mile for mile , the most expensive bus service on the planet.
