We seen Charlotte on Men in Kilts TV series and was very impressed with her , so we booked Charlotte at the first of the year 2020 paid a small deposit, then Covid hit big time. She offered to send our deposit back we said no way was we going to give up our chance to have her as our tour guide so we just kept saying just keep our deposit we are coming as soon as this Covid crap is over. Well 3 and a half years later we made it back to Scotland, Charlotte did not disappoint she went above and beyond she stayed in contact with us the whole time , told us what was going on, things to see and do , things we didn’t even know we wanted to see, she is so smart, friendly, so knowledgeable of Scotlands history, a wonderful driver and I’m picky about other people driving lol, such a kind soul , so funny, sentimental , very well spoken with such a beautiful Scottish voice And so beautiful that’s just a plus. Each day she had little surprises to see. She took lots of great pictures & videos for us and knew lots of great places to eat. She knew I was a big Outland fan and she made sure we all did things we would all enjoy. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful of a person and tour guide Charlotte is. If I had unlimited money I would build her a big house with a pool & big bath tub and my husband & I would move next door to her and Jamie . She just that wonderful of a person you would want to be neighbors with and friends.

So with this being said if you’re going to Scotland and want a great tour guide contact Edinburgh Black Cab tours ask for Charlotte you will be spoiled for life. We would do it all over again & again.

We booked a 2-day bespoke tour with Edinburgh Black Cab Tours as part of our first trip to Scotland, and could not be happier with the experience! It was our great luck to have Stephen as our guide (and new best friend) during the two days we spent together, and he did an absolutely stunning job of not only getting us to the spots we wanted to see, but teaching us so much about those spots, as well as about the beautiful entire country of Scotland with humor, grace and passion. A born storyteller as well as an excellent driver on the many narrow and curvy roads of The Highlands, our time with Stephen of Edinburgh Black Cab Tours was the highlight of our 11 day trip to Great Britain and Scotland. We HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who wants a fun, educational, and brilliant adventure while there. If we could give them 6 stars we would!--Jim & Traci H., Argyle TX

Kevan took us on a wonderful, bespoke tour from Edinburgh to Inverness. We planned to visit several sites along the way, but he added extra stops, including some surprise locations once he learned I was an Outlander fan. He pointed out various filming locations (Outlander and other) throughout our tour. He knew all the best places to stop for photos in Glencoe. He was professional, patient, accommodating, and so friendly. Highly recommended!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with the hilarious Stephen! He went above and beyond showing us this magnificent city and I was so glad we booked this tour. Stephen was lovely, very friendly and knowledgable and didn’t mind my abundance of questions! He showed us many of the key sights and upon discovering I was a fan of outlander he took us to the famous Midhope castle as a wee extra add on! We also detoured home via Queensferry. You can really tell Stephen is passionate about his city, the enthusiasm shines through. Next time I’m back would love to do your famous tour to Skye! Thanks Stephen (especially for saying we are in our twenties 🤣)

I am back at my hotel so delighted at the four hour tour I have done with Kevin.
I was looked after brilliantly eg with my mobility walker and getting in and out of car.
Saw so much of beautiful Edinburgh with very interesting and informative information. Done with a lovely and friendly manner by someone who loves his city.
Did I mention I had not yet seen a Highland Coo, well that was quickly remedied, a bag of carrots bought and hello Coo.
A trip to Falkland finalised the time and a hefty heave Ho to get me back into car.
Thank you Kevin, thank you Edinburgh Black Cab Tours. I will sing your praise and happily recommend you.

Our experience with Edinburgh Black Cabs was fantastic. From our initial contact through emails and Steven’s help in organizing a tour that lead to us adoring everything about Scotland. Our guides Stephen and Charlotte were an absolute joy to spend time with learning and seeing Scotland history. They were such lovely guides, both with quick sense of humors, which my husband and I absolutely loved. They were very accommodating with our schedule. We were able to add a few things that weren’t on the list to see. Do not hesitate to use this company for your touring needs, you will not regret it!

The reviews were amazing so I had high hopes. I assumed we’d have one of the featured tour guides but we had someone who was probably hired out due to a busy season. He was ok but the tour wasn’t fabulous, sadly. If making plans with this group, I’d advise asking for one of the tour guides who are specifically featured. The tour day was good though. Just did not exceed expectations.

What a fabulous experience we had with Steve and Charlotte at Edinburgh Black Cab Tours. Their expertise of Scottish history and various corresponding locations greatly enhanced our sightseeing experience. Outlander filming sites were of particular interest to our small group; driving up to Midhope Castle with the Outlander soundtrack playing was a treat I’ll not forget. Castle ruins, charming villages, gorgeous Scotland lochs and highlands, experiencing Scottish culture- we did it all! We extended our adventure to The Isle of Skye with Steve. What an outstanding experience! He took us to all the gorgeous vistas Skye is famous for. It is obvious that Charlotte and Steve enjoy what the do. They both made sure we had a great time together, making time for cozy lunch spots and shopping. Their enthusiasm is infectious and I truly loved spending time with them. Do not hesitate to book your next excursion with Edinburgh Black Cab Tours.

Charlotte and Steve were amazing on our Outlander trip. I went with 13 women ages 48-72. We all had one thing in common. Outlander. So the best was hired to give us a 6 day tour of many of the places around Scotland that shot scenes from Outlander. Charlotte and Steve were so knowledgeable and personable in their tour and made everyone so comfortable during our 6 days. I had injured my knee right before the trip and they went out of their way to accommodate me with my Walker and cane. They even gave me personalized tours when I could not do stairs and hills. Charlotte and Steve were so kind . They even provided goody bags for our car rides. We became friends during our 6 days. They were a joy to be around. Steve even volunteered to be our guide as 6 of us stayed on to tour Isle of Skye. I highly recommend Edinburgh Black Cab tours. You won’t be disappointed. I miss their smiles and kindness and now call them friends.💕🏴

Absolutely phenomenal! Private 6+ hour tour! Our driver customized our stops based on our preferences! We saw Coos, outlander filming locations, the kelpies, and hours of countrysides! Just do this! Our Driver , Kevin, showed up in a kilt and was a wonderful, kind personality! 10 out of 10!
