I had a disappointing visit to Knockhill. The manager, Joanna I think her name was, seemed very rude and it looked like she made all the staff do the work while she just sat on her computer in the main cafe. We saw her a couple of times, and it was clear the staff didn’t get a break at all. The floors were absolutely dirty, which was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the food was absolutely amazing – the chefs are on point.

The staff were really so nice and helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had a great time in the cars after some great instruction and let loose in the single seaters. Thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We went to the gokarting and used the double tandem gokarts- as my child has disabilities. Several different members of staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was difficult or out of the ordinary for them. They really made the session fab. We will absolutely go back thanks to the brilliant staff

My first time ever at a super car driving experience, the whole process was quick and painless and the instructions in the car were clear allowing you to focus on going as fast as possible , got upgraded to the Aston Martin for the last car which was the fastest car of the day by miles , thx to all the instructors and staff on the day , well worth the money paid ; will definitely be back

It was a great day spent driving some nice cars around this short but fun track. The weather was dry, and overall, about 30-40 people drove on the day. The queuing system is straightforward: queue up for the car you want to drive and wait.
I booked 5 cars and double laps (it's worth it, to learn the track and explore each car)
Instructors are good, shout out to Harley, Gordon and Simon. Rob and Jasper, not my cup of tea, but they do a job, just not my style. Pit crew are really helpful and guide you to your car and ensure you get in, no issues at all and very friendly.
Book the Artura, it's the fastest and best car available (it's a hybrid V6, but goes like nothing else) save it until last once you learn the track and get your confidence up.
Book the Ariel Atom trip for the very end and see how it should be driven!!

I was gifted a Supercar Driving Experience - 6 laps in a Nissan GT-R and the BMW M3 drift experience for myself and 2 passengers.
On arrival, I was told by reception that the Nissan GT-R was broken and wouldn’t be available the whole day. I was advised I could A) choose another of their “standard” cars B) pay extra for one of their more advanced cars or C) reschedule to another day altogether. Myself and my family felt the receptionist was pushing for me to choose option B and pay more money by telling us there were huge queues for the standard cars and that some of the standard cars were full even though it was the same queuing system for any of the cars and was pretty much a free-for-all. I decided to go for the Lamborghini Gallardo instead, at no extra cost.
The disappointment didn’t end there. Myself and my family were waiting in the queue for the drift car and realised we all hadn’t seen the car in a while. My Dad asked a member of staff about this car and she said “oh has no one spoken to you about this car” who then proceeded to tell us that this had also now been taken off the track for the day due to mechanical issues. This then meant that an experience for 3 people together was now impossible. The girl offered for me to drive 3 laps in any of their cars (including the more advanced cars) to resolve this and I chose the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R.
I also got 2 passenger laps in an Ariel Atom which was EXTREMELY fast and not for the faint-hearted.
I felt the whole place was very disorganised, there was a total lack of communication between staff and thought that it was overall, a very impersonal experience. I also felt upselling was at the forefront of all conversations with staff.
I would’ve liked to purchase the photographs they had taken of me in the cars - however, these were £30 each. In my opinion this was way too expensive for the quality of photographs you would receive and I decided to leave it.

The driving experience was excellent - laps in a Formula One style racing car preceded by circuit familiarisation in an Alpine with an instructor. Without exception, every member of staff was really friendly, helpful and did their best to ensure a fun, worthwhile session.

Been to the hill dozens of times for events and stuff but this morning was my first time doing one of the experiences and what a day it was! We were lucky in that,there was a bit of rain kicking about so it was nice and slidy and The wee fiestas are so fun to throw around! My race instructor steven was brilliant,really knowledgeable and good guy which made it even better as I won't lie,nerves were a bit up when I first sat in the car haha. Cheers to all involved

I'd booked the Performance Driving Course at Knockhill, luckily the day was dry and sunny! The instructor, Ronan Pearson was excellent; he was calm and gave clear guidance on how to get the best from my car. He drove some 'flying laps' in my car which showed just what it could do!
Unlike the public track days, the track was really quiet with just some single-seaters and Alpines on the circuit which made the experience less stressful.

My wife and I both had an Ultimate Drivers Experience. The whole day was excellent, thrilling and we learned a lot, especially when considering how little time we really spent with instructors. Due to the weather being a bit on the wet side, we started off with the rally experience, doing 5 laps clockwise followed by 5 anti-clockwise. Muddy fun! Lunch followed, which was included in the price, at Kinnairds Bistro close to the track, and the food was very nice, definitely not an after thought! I had a beefburger, the wife had a chicken burger, both were huge and very good quality! After this we headed to the track for 5 instructional laps in what must have been a race-spec Honda Civic because boy was it fast. Then we were let loose in the single seat formula race cars. I don't know how to describe this experience. I could try, but words aren't enough! I couldn't stop smiling for quite a while after blasting round the circuit for 10 laps. As if this wasn't enough, we were then taken to the go-kart track for a 6-heat race followed by a final. Chaos, but the fun kind! There were 20 of us and all wanted to win, so you can guess how many times we all spun off the track. The staff at the circuit were all very helpful, chatty, and above all proved they knew exactly what they were talking about when instructing us and demonstrating how the experts do it - shout out to Andrew and Michael, my rally and track instructors respectively, and to Graham who had to put up with my wife giggling all day! I was expecting to have a good time, but I was not prepared for the Ultimate Driver Experience. Unforgettable!

Is there a difference in the experience when you book through a site like wow voucher to booking through knockhill website for the super car experience? It’s significantly cheaper on other sites but is this reflected in the quality of the day? It’s a birthday present so I want it to be a good day out but obviously if it’s the same quality will go for the cheaper discounted version. Thanks in advance

Hi, if you mean the Karting Kids Club then yes, these sessions all have to be pre-booked. If it's simply to bring kids along to Knockhill to kart, there are arrive and drive sessions available - however, we always advise to pre-book. The karting centre generally opens 10am -6pm six days a week (includes both weekend days). Hope that helps, if you need to speak to the Karting team, simply call us on 01383 723337. Thanks

Yes, the Circuit is open all year round. However, please ensure there isn't an event on before you visit, otherwise you'll be asked to pay the admission fee at the gate. Events generally take place on weekends, so your best bet would be a weekday. Thanks

It depends on the event that is running. Check the Knockhill website for more information. I know the Scottish Motor Racing Club meetings that are once a month are about £20 each, but British Superbikes and British Touring Cars events are about £35. Hope this helps a bit.
