Welcomed to the experience with a lovely glass of gin. Then we took part in a tasting session. Next was the opportunity to make your own gin using a great variety of herbs. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the experience as a whole was fantastic. We certainly recommend this experience. Thanks to Crossbill. Margaret & Les

We had a fantastic afternoon at Crossbill Gin School. We attended for the ‘make your own gin class’ which was a great experience. There was about 10 of us, everyone was really friendly. We were offered a gin on arrival, we were then given background info on the company and interesting facts on gin. A tasting session and then made our own gin. It was relaxed but great fun. They even provided snacks. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Best way to spend a Saturday afternoon at the Barras...or anywhere else for that matter. So much information about gins origins and history all brilliantly put over in a way only someone from Greenock could do by Dave and with the essential back up and topping up of the drinks from Ashley. Great fun and distilling your own personal gin using juniper and other botanicals is a great touch. We enjoyed every minute of it and wandered home laden down with booze from the shop! What a day we had the gin was flowing all day Daniel and David where great hosts very informative and they had great patter would definitely recommend also the snacks where great it was the gin masters class we had booked and we distilled our own gin

What an awesome day! Lovely atmosphere, very fun, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The experience was great from start to finish, and I’ve got my very own bottle of blended gin to drink!

Fantastic afternoon at Crossbill Gin School. Daniel and Ashley made our gin tasting and blending class so much fun as well as being interesting and educational. Booking was easy and although only 7 of us, they arranged a private class. We have raved about this experience to everyone. Well worth a visit, a great gift, family and friends experience or charity prize donation.

We had an excellent afternoon learning about gin making. The staff member was friendly and knowledgeable and getting to make our own gin was great also. I would recommend this experience.

Had a superb afternoon with Stuart and Barbara at Crossbill. Stuart was really knowledgeable and engaging and made the whole afternoon fun and entertaining. The Gin and tonics also went down a treat

What a great afternoon! There was only 8 of us so a lovely small group. Toby was very knowledgeable and gave us just enough information without being too much.
Barbara worked hard behind the scenes ensuring we all had a drink, fresh glasses and mixers.
We started with gin tasting then went on to distill our own bottle of gin.
To our surprise it turned out that Toby's Mum and Dad were actually guests that day but didn't let on!
I would highly recommend the afternoon; it was very relaxed and very enjoyable.
