My boyfriend and I went out for dinner tonight and decided to stop at a few pubs before heading home
We aren’t foreigners to Glasgow and know the etiquette. I smiled at the bouncer and my boyfriend walked up the steps to which your employee took great offence at 😂 he was called back and asked why he ignored her?! He apologised and said he didn’t hear her. To be fair to him, neither did I. Since when did we need to stop and have a chat with bouncers before entering pubs?
Anyway after he said sorry the delightful bouncer told us to “try somewhere else”. Which we were happy to do because she let the entire place down. Going on previous reviews we aren’t the only ones who have experienced this power hungry person - needless to say we happily carried on and found a couple other very welcoming pubs so she didn’t ruin our night

Because we are a nightclub our security will talk to guests to check sobriety and also to conduct bag searches where required, this is why the security staff would have asked you to come back down to the door.
