Popped in for a couple of strong(ish) craft beers. Featured in the Good Pub Guide, this pub is in one of the prime bar/restaurant areas of the city. Pavement tables to watch the world go buy.

Visiting Scotland for Christmas and needed to escape grandchildren and general excitement in the build up.
Took the dog for a walk and popped in on a whim. Both of us were made to feel welcome (although no dogs after 7pm per polite notice at the door).
Decent selection of wines, spirits and beers and a cosy atmosphere in what is quite a small bar.
Friendly enough vibe and popular with local folks popping in for a quick couple after work.
Well worth a visit.

Compact, cosy pub, small bar, but some tables outside. Variety of sna ks, beers, cider. Nothing special but really friendly. Perfect to share a beer with friends

We love visiting htis cosy little spot whenever we visit Glasgow to see our son. Service is always friendly, we partiularly enjoy talking to Jules(?) and prices seem to be accessible regarding how things are going these days. I relaly like the variety of wines and beer that are available and feel they offer much more than the usual stuff.
Don't make the rookie mistake of sitting too close by the fire! It is tempting but on a busy weekend you'l find yourself quickly overhearting. Great selection of snacks also available.

I actually like this pub but if they are going to allow dogs in licensed premises then they should appreciate that when the bar is busy and you have dogs lying beside tables then this is a recipe for disaster. I stood an a dogs paw today and was met with hostility from the dog owner when I pointed out that it shouldn't have been lying across the floor. It was later at night and the lights had been dimmed and I hadn't seen it and thankfully was rewarded with just a growl. I spoke to a lady afterwards who actually had a dog bark and frighten her. We also have animals sitting on seats which should be for customers which is also unhygeinic and I would assume an environmental health issue. Pubs which allow dogs require at least a modicum of responsibilty

Was in last Saturday afternoon
Bought a large Rose wine along with a Kraken and lemonade and charged £16 odds , when I asked barmaid about it she said the large wine was £10.80 , has without doubt got to be the most expensive large wine I've ever purchased

We left a nearby noisy pub to come here for some peace, and it was lovely, calm and relaxed, the staff and other customers were very welcoming. Real fire, nice decor and, even better, no tv ! We will definitely return.

Spent an evening in the Belle delighted to have a table on a Friday night at this cozy pub. Wine good, beer good, late night whisky selection also good. Staff brilliant. It was raining buckets outside so our planned pub crawl turned into a pub stay. We love this place.

Went the other night with my dog to meet a friend but realised dogs aren't allowed inside after 7pm anymore! BUT - outside seating is great and staff are super friendly and if you don't have a dog, the inside is cosy and welcoming.

Great wee pub with a good mix of clientele but there are 6 dogs at the moment 4 of which belong to three inebriated girls. Don’t really feel comfortable.
