Very detailed and informative tour. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth going to, and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

One of the best tours I’ve been on, and I’ve been on lots of them. Our guide Alistair was top notch and pitched the information perfectly for those who knew a bit about whisky and those who didn’t. Even my wife said everything was explained really well.
Would recommend a visit here but best to book ahead.

We went on the 'Tasting Tour' today and it was excellent. Rosemary, who took us around was a superb host. She was friendly, funny and knowledgeable.
The tour took us right around the distillery, highlighting the process from raw product, to finished product. The tasting session was fun and informal, giving a good chance to taste the latest whisky offerings.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour and tasting. I would highly recommend the legacy tasting to the novice or newbie malt whisky drinker. Very pleasant drams. We were looked after exceptionally well by Fiona and Rosemary. Some great drams behind the bar and of course you have the opportunity to bottle your own. Looking forward to coming back for the warehouse tasting.

Six of us did the whisky tour and tasting. Liam gave us the tour and gave an in-depth talk about the history of Tomatin distillery and the process of making and storing of their exquisite whisky's. We then went into the tasting room to sample 6 of their finest whisky's. Liam's knowledge was outstanding giving us advice on how to get the full flavor of each one. I have done a lot of whisky tours over the years and this was by far one of the best I have been on. I can't recommend this enough and want to personally thank Liam for making it memorable. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back again.

What can we say but WOW. My husband and I recently booked the single cast experience. I am a complete novice in whiskey and alcohol in general, so my husband decided he'd be the designated driver.
Our tour guide was Fiona and she was extremely knowledgeable and funny. She let us ask lots of weird and wonderful questions throughout the tour. As it was early January the team had just come back from their festive breaks, so they were just starting their productions. It was really interesting being in the middle of things and seeing the team in action.
Once we finished the tour we were then onto the whiskey tasting. Now I've not been a fan of whiskey, but Tomatin has really changed my mind. Fiona shined throughout the experience and explaining what I was smelling and tasting. My husband was allowed to take his tasters home.
I highly recommend going to this gem.

My wife will be coming along as the "Designated Driver" but has little or no interest in doing a tour. Is there a coffee shop or waiting area where she could read a book and the like whilst waiting for me to complete a tour ?

Just wondering what the best way to get from the hotels to the Distillery's if you are staying in Inverness? Is there public transport to get you there?
