Fantastic view point for clear pictures and videos of Loch Tummel.
Suitable for prams and wheelchair access too.
Only disappointment was the visitor centre wasn't open but that did not take away from the view.

Leider war bei unserem Besuch alles geschlossen, aber dafür waren wenige Menschen dort. Der Ausblick ist wirklich wunderschön und nach hinten ins Tal weiterfahren lohnt sich auch auf jeden Fall!

We went here on coach tour last weekend the centre was closed but we could still walk up to see the view which was a couple of minutes up a small incline from the car park and it was worth going to see

There are plenty of signs for "Queen's View" and we passed it multiple times whilst touring the area before finally succumbing to drop in. We have been here before and thought the view was nice but not exceptional for the area.
The National Trust for Scotland have a large car park (free to Members, small fee for others) however the Visitor Centre and shop was closed for redevelopment at the time of our visit. From the car park there is a short walk along sealed paths which leads to the view over Loch Tummel. There is also a small disabled parking area near to the view and a path accessible for wheelchairs.
It's only a few minutes stop and was apparently a favoured view by Queen Victoria hence the name.

A spectacular view from the observation viewing point at Queens View the stunning landscape photographs could not capture the true scale of the beautiful landscape visited in the Month of October the golden views of the trees was spectacular A must visit.

Not sure the £2 in the car park is worth 15 minutes, but a wonderful view of splendid Scottish scenery. Was it Queen Victoria, or the wife of Robert the Bruce of long ago who loved it here?!

This has to be a definite stop off (take your camera). Small charge for the car park. There is a short walk (slight uphill) to the view and "what a view".

Always a beautiful place to visit, it is a shame that they have decided to close the cafe till some point in 2023 for refurbishment, despite not actually doing any work there yet. Glad to see that they could still extort money for parking with the cafe closed

Hi, there is a bus service from Pitlochry which takes 15/20 minutes. You’ll get the detailed times on Traveline Scotland. There’s no charge to view as you won’t have to pay for parking! Have fun.

Hi, I checked a website, opening hours in 2017 says that the cafe was open during the whole year. Most probably is should be the same in 2018.

is a one day tour from edinburgh to loch tummel possible to see a lot?. or will it be very tiring going back and forth from edindburgh + hiking in a one day?. should we find a place to settle for one night near the loch better?. and if so , is there a shorter trip from london directly to somewhere near the loch instead of going to edinburgh and wasting a night there?. i only have a 2 day weekend, and want to make the most of it to make time for hiking. and if possibly i need any contacts information to get connected with a tour guide to ask him about all the details and to be able to get the best out of the tummel and glens in this area. thank you

You'd be better off avoiding Loch Tummel altogether.There are some great places around Edinburgh for hiking rather than wasting time crawling up the A9 just to get stuck behind a Lochs and Glens bus when you reach Pitlochry.The whole Pitlochry/Tummel area is a tourist rip off. I'd avoid.
