We visited on 19th June.
First the negative. Received very poor service and witnessed what appeared to be racism in the Hill restaurant. There was a black guy serving in there, working hard doing his best at the bar. But alongside him was a young girl and young guy (both white), who while we were observing did no work at all, not even when there were other people at the bar and while their colleague was toiling....and worse still they appeared to be aware of what they were doing and chuckling about it behind his back. Might be something the management want to look into.
As for the rest, we enjoyed the course and we enjoyed our day. It was a fairly low key meeting with not a very big attendance but the sun was shining, it's a pretty little course, everything nicely set out, the atmosphere was laid back and pleasant, so all good.

Avoid this venue. Had the worst experience on 9/12/23 at sparkle and shine. No alcohol in drinks, no prosecco on arrival, food was vile and staff very rude. 48.00 for a bottle of prosecco , and had to drink out of plastic cups. People left half way into the night due to the prices and lack of alcohol in drinks.

Hamilton Park has reinvented itself from the old fashioned, run down racecourse 30 years ago into one of the country's better smaller racecourses. The grandstand has been redeveloped to resembles a chateau and has a large range of bars, restaurants and betting facilities. You can buy a meal at OK prices in Hills Restaurant and place a bet while you're waiting. Also if you have more money, you can book a table in Dukes in the upper part of the the grandstand and watch the racing from your table.
Other features I found good at Hamilton Park was the generous disabled parking area, a huge screen that shows the races( useful when the horses go out of vision on the far side of the course), a ramp for racegoers in wheelchairs, and vendors selling ice cream and burgers. If you want to make a visit to Hamilton Park last a couple of days, a Hampton by Hilton hotel has been built next to the racecourse.
Hamilton Park is easy to access by road, being a mile from the M74, but the rush hour traffic can be very heavy, and getting out of the course is a chore. The other alternative is to catch a train to Hamilton West, which has regular services to Glasgow Central.

Absolutely rip off. £28 entry. £6.70 a pint, poor wifi, limited viewing of other race meetings and dog racing. Find a pub and watch the racing there. This track (like many) are taking folk for a ride!

We attended Dukes package last year, and left feeling very disappointed. What a difference a year makes, thank you Katie for arranging our follow up visit. Delighted. Much improved. Good food and excellent service, big thank you to Dylan from the agency who served us today. Fabulous young man, great attitude and will go far in life. A pleasure to meet him

It's been a few years since we've been to the races at Hamilton and were there on a Tuesday with friends. From the minute we arrived the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We sat in the Panorama Bar and again the bar staff were so helpful. They went out their way to make sure everyone was looked after and were first there when we had a spillage. The female bar manager especially was great.
We ordered a pizza from the Paddock Cafe and they very kindly offered to deliver it to us in the bar which they did. The pizza was well priced and delicious.
We also stayed at the Hilton next door which was also great.
Obviously it wasn't a busy meeting being midweek where other reviews have been negative however our day was a great and the staff made it.

The toilets were an absolute disgrace (see photos). The lack of staff serving food or drinks meant that there were 30-40 minute waits on being served. They ran out of ice after an hour or so. This venue is quick to take your entrance fee, charge over the odds for drinks etc, but can’t even put on enough staff to man the food and drinks outlets. Worse of all, was not employing enough staff to keep the toilets in order. Post Covid you would have thought hygiene levels would have stayed high. Without being over dramatic, public health would have closed this hovel down. One upside to our visit I must mention, the racing itself was very good and we even managed s few winners.

What a lovely friendly course. Friendly staff and great views of the course. The local ice cream was lovely. Only £3, we loved the fish chips too. We travelled from Swanseaand stayed at the premier inn. One tip.If your disabled, get a taxi. We walked it, me with crutches, too much for me. The atmosphere was fantastic. Id compare

Great night at the G4 Glasgow stakes night.
Weather was fab which helped of course.
Good value entry and started at the on site hotel, see separate review, which was great.
Plenty of bars available, cash point was temperamental but staff helped out.
Good options were ok, usual chips etc
After the races we stayed for the rock of ages tribute which was awesome, although actually only played 3 songs from the film.
Great evening and will definitely be back

αρκετά καλό το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και το σέρβις αρκετά καλό δεν διαθέτει ψυγείο στο δωμάτιο και όχι πολλες παροχές το πρωινό ήταν μέτριο το μπαρ το βράδυ δούλευε και οι τιμές ήταν καλές διαθέτει άνετο παρκινκ αλλά όχι καλή θέα και δεν έχει παράθυρα στα δωμάτια

yes the car parking is very close by but if you are staying at the hotel its less than 50 yards from the main stand

Yes we allow picnics at all of our racedays. We kindly request that you only have picnics at the outdoor picnic benches and not on the grandstand steps.
Soft drinks must be in their original, unopened packaging. Glass bottles and alcohol are not permitted.
