Magnificent views and very picturesque. Kids enjoyed walking through. Roads are very tight but adds to the charm. Great if you step into walking or biking as specific trails. Cannot miss this if in Clare

Very interesting

Absolutely worth seeing, so glad we drove into the Burren after seeing the Cliffs of Moher. Highly recommend even a short stop.

Quick stop to see it all

The Burren history is interesting, the sea floor that has risen to the lands surface. Reminds me a bit of lava rock but with more cracks and very deep crevices. A quick 15 minutes stop is all you need here.

Wild coastline…

The drive along the R477 coastline is magnificent…we visited on a day when an Atlantic storm was screaming against the shoreline. The white water it made and the giant waves that crashed against the rocks made for an exciting vista. The rocky geology creates are “moonscape” which is unlike any other landscape I’ve seen. There are several info boards along the road to tell you all about the history of the area.

Well worth a look if you are in the area.

A poco distanza dalle più famose Cliff of moher si stende questa distesa di pietra millenaria. Il paesaggio cambia completamente e diventa ancora più affascinante. Da verde si fa nero e grigio e la roccia, le pietre emergono su tutto. Paesaggio insolito e particolare, vale più di fermata, lungo i vari punti panoramici.

The Burren, Baby cliffs of Moher of Mini cliffs genoemd. Erg mooi om rond te lopen en fantastische foto's te maken. Hoge golven dus pas op dat je niet nat wordt haha.
Echt geweldig om deze plek te bezoeken.

This is definitely worth seeing if you are near the Cliffs of Moher, but one can hike, sit on a rock and contemplate life or gaze across the ocean to Galway bay and the seven bends of Conamara. you feel like you are in another place or time, see the Poulnabrone (an ancient tomb almost 6,000 years old). As you drive through the whole Burren area - go slowly - there are many places you will want to stop and take pictures and if you drive too quickly, There are some interesting signs with information about the area.

Uno spettacolo della natura

Il Burren, che abbiamo attraversato in buona parte in bus, ci ha impressionato quasi quanto le Cliffs of Moher, essendo anch'esso un vero spettacolo della natura. Dopo aver lasciato Doolin, l'unica vera tappa è stata fermarci presso altre Cliffs nel cuore del Burren, definite dall'autista come "Baby Cliffs", che nonostante fossero più piccole le abbiamo trovate altrettante suggestive...Tuttavia anche quello che abbiamo visto dal finestrino attraversando il Burren per tornare a casa è stato altrettanto affascinante e meriterebbe di essere esplorato durante una gita apposita...magari in macchina...

What an archeological wonderland. The ancient places of Ireland have been found! Go there and explore the old castled mansions and the dolmens marking the ancient burial and worship locations. A MUST SEE PLACE ON YOUR TRIP.
