We had a wonderful time in Dublin learning Irish dancing, watching dancing displays and listening to traditional Irish music.

Awful experience. We booked this activity for a hen party & upon booking it didn’t state anywhere that this venue wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with a physical disability (I’m not stating the activity I’m stating the venue). Upon arrival we found a spiral staircase to contend with. Once finally making it up the staircase we were greeted by the host to find that we weren’t sitting within the room in which the activity takes place we were placed on a balcony with more stairs to contend with. We had emailed previously to state we would need to be sat on the lower level (we had been told by someone who had attended previously that there was a balcony you could be seated on) due to the physical disability but this had been ignored. The host asked the other parties if anyone would be willing to swap but no one wanted to, which is understandable because even without the requirements of our party I wouldn’t want to be sat on the balcony looking down on what was taking place. If you wanted a drink or to be involved it’s up and down you go. We asked if there was anyway a discount could be applied as we are unable to take part & we’re told we need to email which doesn’t fill me with much hope considering the previous email had been ignored. The Irish dancers were fantastic & yes everyone on the lower level looked like they really enjoyed themselves. But awful management of the activity. They shouldn’t sell the seats on the balcony full stop. Just any attempt to get extra money. The prices of drinks are also stupidly overpriced 5.70€ for a Diet Coke. Absolute joke

Hello, we are happy that you chose to book the Irish Dance Party. We are sorry to hear of the distress that members of your party experienced. We have however checked our email correspondence and at no point did you mention to us that you had a person with a disability in your party. If we had known in advance we would have taken all the appropriate precautions and would have been able to advise you accordingly. We have since reached out by email for you to send us the email stating that you had a person with disability. We hope to hear back from you soon. It mentions many places online that our venue is not Wheelchair accessible including our Google page and on TripAdvisor. It states it on our website however we intend to put it in a more prominent place on the website. We also did not charge the balance of 5 people in your party as per their request. We hope you enjoyed your weekend in Dublin otherwise.

It was everything and more than what I expected. The three professional dancers were amazing performers as well as instructors, as was the singing Master of Ceremonies who kept us all happily singing along. I would consider it a "don't miss" especially for those interested in not only viewing, but trying a bit of Irish dance. It was spectacular fun!

Couldn’t of had more fun. We had a irsih singer, Irish dancers, lessons on how to Irish dance. My 5 year old loved it!! Highly recommend and we will be back!!

Really enjoyed the whole experience, there was traditional Irish songs followed by Irish dancing then we were taught some dances, it was well thought out. It was 2 hours long which was long enough and not too long. The only downside is soft drinks were really expensive.

Great Fun
I booked this from reviews already read on trip advisor before our long weekend in Dublin. Easy to find and great venue, mixed ages. Good Irish music along with some dancing participation which proved to be great fun by my partner and adult son

We went as a hen do and was such the perfect choice for us! Really good laugh and Gary the singer made sure we were having a laugh as well as making a big deal of our bride xx loved the dancing aswell!

Hen trip visiting from Cardiff, absolutely amazing time!! We loved every minute. Gary and the dancers were brilliant getting everyone involved. Loads of couples and older kids there too, really family friendly. Would 100% do it again

Yes, it is possible to eat on the spot at the The Celt itself, where The Irish Dance Party is usually hosted.
The Gibson Hotel, Central Hotel, Clayton Hotel are some good options to stay.
