An absolute delight.

AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT!!!

In the last three months I have had the pleasure to meet with and recieve advice from Vicky, Helen and Ezelia. I cannot praise these ladies highly enough.

Through their experience and expertise they worked incredibly and patiently with our mare, giving her confidence and knowledge to continue with her training. The love and attention giving to the beautiful horses in their care was second to none. I will be forever grateful for the level of support they have offered both my daughter and I.

My daughter started lessons with Vicky in September and awaits eagerly each week for her lesson. Vicky has a great ability to see each riders potential and encourages them in many ways in order for them to reach this potential. My daughter enjoys any new challenges and her confidence has grown from strength to strength. She also enjoys learning about stable management and how to care for her mare along with beach walks, camps etc All of which is delivered to the highest standard.

There is a real sense of community and everyone is so kind and welcoming. I am looking forward to learning more with this amazing crew.

Awful.

Didn't send my younger sister here to be abused by staff. Head member of staff is not good with children and as effected her self esteem and confidence greatly. She had a horrible experience.
Not interested in people or friendly with them. Extremely rude.

Lovely horses and a great memory

friendly and professional horse riding. My 11 year old daughter did a 2 day summer camp and really enjoyed the experience. I also organised a group of 4 adults and 2 tweenies to do a trek which every one enjoyed immensely. 2 of the group were beginners and were led by reign. Good value for money too compared to Dublin prices. Horses were beautiful and all the staff were friendly and professional. Helen, the lady that runs the facility was very helpful before our trip to Co Mayo, so everything was arranged well in advance - just as well as the camp was booked out and our trek too. A lovely experience and I would definitely recommend. Location was also easy to find - literally beside the car park of Croagh Patrick. Stunning scenery.

Family fun

As someone from Westport I have to admit sometimes you don't appreciate what's on your own doorstep. What a wonderful time we had at the stables recently. 3 adults and 4 children with 1 experienced rider, 3 who hadn't been on a horse for years and 3 never at all. Helen the proprietor was absolutely lovely, very professional but also so welcoming and friendly. We trekked out on the beach as the tide was out. What an amazing place we have the privilege to live in. Couldn't recommend Croagh Patrick Stables enough. Thank you Helen and your wonderful team of staff.

What a wonderful experience

An absolutely fantastic experience and warm welcome awaits. Beautiful horses and fantastic staff. My daughter had a blast and was so well looked after. The beach experience was fantastic despite the weather and she thoroughly enjoyed her lesson also. We can’t wait to come back again. Looking forward to our next visit already. Thanks guys.

Top Expeirience in Wesport

Went with a group of 7 ladies ranging from experienced riders to riders with no expeirience. Vicky was amazing carefully selected horses to suit each ladies comfort level. Absolutely fab trek on the beach, definitely a top expeirience in Westport with croagh patrick in the back drop, scenery is breathtaking! Vicky and her leads brought a bit of craic to the hour long trek, great value for money and a truly memorable experience

Getting away from the ladies

A ride on the beach was too much for my wife and her friend to pass up. I did the hike up Coaugh Patrick. We all got a great break, I was certainly the worse for ware compared to the ladies. They thoroughly loved the experience and was a huge higlight of of their holiday. I have to say, a Guiness never tasted so good when my hike was over.

The first time I’d ever been on a horse and I had an amazing experience riding into the sea!! Sincere thanks to Martin and Vicky - this was a wonderful highlight to my vacation❤️

Fabulous beach riding experience

Just to confirm that our riding experience was just as good as described in all of the other positive reviews. It was thrilling to experience riding on the sand and in the shallow seawater. Vicki and her team clearly love the horses who all seem so well cared for. Just what I would expect from an Athlone woman!
