We weren't sure about going out to the golf club for Sunday evening meal as we are not into the whole golf scene but we definitely made the right choice. The menu the meal the service the atmosphere was all excellent. David made us feel very welcome . The young girl that served our table was so helpful and organised my main course with the chef it was a little bit different to the menu but nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed our evening and we will definitely be back. Well done to David and the team.

Went for beautiful meal at rossmore golf club restaurant with my brothers Kevin, Seamus sister in law, nieces an other family members 10 in all, most amazing meal I've had in long long time top class, great service lovely waitress /waiter made my break ⭐Thanks again Marion Markey Williams. Killarney

Was passing by and had a few hours to kill so called in for a round. Had never played the course before. I got stuck behind 4 elderly members on hole 2 and was held up very badly on every hole. On the 7th one of them suggested I skip the par 3 and move ahead which I turned down. The 4 boys hocked around until finally allowing me through in the 14th. Took about 3 minutes out of their round but they added at least an hour into mine by that stage. Exemplifies exactly what's wrong with the game and why young people are not taking the game up. 5 hours is probably nothing out of these coffin dodgers day but its just not possible for me to take that much time for a round of golf.
As for the course, its pretty unimaginative stuff. Several ponds in the course but none seem to be in play. Greens are inconsistent. Very forgettable golf course and definitely won't be back on account of ignorant members who refuse to let quicker players play through.

Very nice parkland course and a good challenge. Plenty of sloping lies which can be a good test. Course on elevated ground and plays good most of the year except for one fairway that can get a little wet. Well worth a visit.

Super course, no bland holes. The course is physically challenging, lots of steep hills but they are integrated very well into the course design + excellent greens. 23 of us played it on a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed it. We had a meal afterwards and it was equally as good, lovely steak with more sides than we could eat, dessert & coffee delivered by very welcoming friendly staff. I simply can't praise the place enough and all this for €45 on a Saturday (€25 golf, steak €20) genuine 5 star review all round

After getting a deal on golfnow a friend and I played the course on a lovely calm sunny spring day.
The pro shop is in a wooden cabin and club house is a dated bungalow type building however the reception from kieron the pro is a warm one.
The 1st hole is a tricky par 5 and probably left us unsure as what to expect next as the fairway is every shape with scratchy rough bordering a lot of the hole but then suddenly you approach the 2nd and the course starts to reveal its quality.
What a superb course with massive elevations and drop offs yet most tee shots from elevated tees. It is like a rollercoaster ride yet up and down not those horrid side sloping fairways.
Large greens and smart bunkering offer great approach shots and the fairways are tight yet offer good landing areas for the drives.
The par 3s are super, all of decent mixed lenght and styles. The views from most of the course are spectacular.
The only disapointing hole is the 18th. A short strange little par 4. A long straight par 3 would have fitted better.
Most people probably come to this area and try out the much talked about Concra wood course. You would be missing a trick not playing this little gem as well.

Played here twice this year and enjoyed the experience very much a hilly course and the par 3s are a test of your long irons nice club house with very good food a warm welcome makes this a good visit and a very good course

New developments have made this course one of the best golf challenges for handicap golfers in this and surrounding area. The sand-based greens are amazingly slick, fairways are lush but well cropped and the views are beautiful any time of the year. Dublin friends could not get over the condition of the course on a recent visit in June of this year.
