Adults and kids all had a great time. Plenty of diversity for everyone to enjoy. Added bonus is the kids we're suitable worn out so a lovely peaceful journey home

First time here and we had a great time. Large play area for children and plenty to do. Food was good and good value too - staff were friendly. Lots of picnic tables and areas to sit. Only suggestion for improvement would be too rethink the ice cream sales in reception - pone member of staff doing both tasks on a busy sunny summer day isn't ideal.

Sad to say how this has gone down hill. There used to be SO much more to Sacrewell Farm, with something for all ages to enjoy. Sadly many of its big attractions are no longer there and their absence is very much noticed.
Over priced for what there is now to what used to be an enjoyable outing for all ages.

My sister and I visited Scarewell Farm for a full day of blacksmithing and had a blast under the guidance of Lance.
He was welcoming, personable and deftly met us at our level of understanding.
We learnt a lot, forged our own pieces to take away, had a laugh and came away with a strong itch to get back to the forge soon!
I'm booking in other family members for a unique present.

This place used to be so much better. The only thing at all worth while is the park area.
For what is called a “farm” there isn't actually that many animals.
For what is it I would say it is over priced especially for adults. Seeing as the target audience is aim towards children and there is not anything really targeted towards adults(other then walking around and looking at the animals) you would think it would make more sense for the adult tickets to be cheaper (or even free - I’d more likely spend money in the cafe or gift shop if I didn’t spend almost £10 to look at the animals)
The Playbarn Soft Play - it is reasonably sized and has decent amount of seats available. The “ball pit” maybe has about 50 balls in tho. It is also very warm in there.

Regarding the pricing, we regularly review our ticket pricing to ensure it reflects the value of the experiences we provide. As a charitable organisation, all proceeds from admissions directly support the maintenance of our site and the welfare of our animals.
We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t see many animals, we have pigs, sheep, lambs (in our stone barn), cows, calves, goats, kids, goats, alpacas, ponies, donkeys, peacocks, plus our small animal barn where our guinea pigs and rabbits live.
We appreciate your feedback about the Playbarn and we'll look into ways to enhance the experience, including addressing the issues you mentioned about the ball pit.

We visited today (12th April 5.30pm) for the VIP Lambing experience & private tour of the farm. We paid £150 and it was worth every penny. The young lady who guided us was wonderful, informative and extremely friendly; she is such an asset to Sacrewell. The care the animals receive is their top priority and you can see how well they are taken care of. We couldn’t thank you enough!

I brought my children here when they were younger and it's so lovely to return after all those years with my grandchildren.
There's been so many improvements, with the addition of the new play park and mill stream play area which are both huge hits with the children! Plus there's lots of animals to visit and of course the indoor soft play is a godsend on a rainy day.
We love to bring a picnic and sit behind the mill as it's so beautiful and then have an ice cream, there's so many flavours the boys love choosing what to have!
We also love the events here, we recently visited for the Easter event and it was a huge hit with the children and great value for money.
It's our favourite place to visit locally as we can spend the whole day here as there's just so much to do.

We enjoyed our visit here (about 3 - 4 hours if you include an hour in soft play & lunch)
Great, big outdoor play area (my 7yo loved it). He also liked the large connect 4 & chess set.
Indoor play - was busy but fairly decent, shame kids don't follow the rules of no climbing up slide!
Cafe looked OK for generic lunch but didn't eat here just had a cuppa - was pleased there was 3 milk alternatives but didn't see much food catered to vegans. Range of ice lollies/ice cream, again slightly limited choice for vegans.
I felt a bit sorry for the donkeys outside as they're feet were absolutely covered in mud - this is not good for infection prevention in donkeys - definitely needed some mud mats down for them.
Lovely, quaint walks - we would visit again, it was a pleasant trip. Even better that dogs on leads can visit.

In response to your feedback about our café, we're pleased to learn that you appreciated the availability of milk alternatives. However, we acknowledge your concerns regarding the limited vegan lunch options. We will relay your feedback to Origin 8, the café operator, to address this matter. Additionally, concerning ice cream choices, we take pride in offering a diverse range of vegan options from Marshfield Farms, including flavours like strawberry, salted caramel, and lemon, along with sorbets and vegan Magnums. Please just ask one of the team in reception who will be able to advise you on options here :).
We also appreciate your concern for the well-being of our resident donkeys. Rest assured, we take the health and comfort of our animals very seriously. As part of our daily routine, our dedicated livestock team take the donkeys into the stables every evening to carefully attend to their needs, including picking their feet to prevent infections. Additionally, we ensure their well-being by providing daily walks to mitigate the risk of laminitis.
We're thrilled that you enjoyed the picturesque walks around our grounds and that you're considering a return visit. We look forward to welcoming you back to Sacrewell and ensuring that your next experience with us is even more enjoyable.

We have been regular visitors to Sacrewell for a number of years now, and it is always a fantastic day out. The staff are always really helpful and happy to answer any questions you have about the animals. The animals are all really well cared for, and there's lots of them to see. My kids absolutely love the playground, and in the spring/summer the water stream area is really great. The play barn is also a big hit when the weather is unpredictable. It really is the best farm attraction in the local area and we look forward to revisiting again very soon.

I think this place would be great for 5 years old up, we went with our 6 month old. The baby section in the indoor play area was quite frankly awful. The balls were filthy, and there was hardly anything else in there. The older kids area looked fun though. You could do all sorts with the space it's just poor. My other criticism and I appreciate it's a farm so itl get muddy but put some hay down to soak up some of the mud to make it easier to use a pram, as we really struggled in some areas. It wouldn't cost alot but would make some of the walkways easier. The outside play area was lovely and again I think more aimed at older children,prob 5 plus.
I would also say the map needed to say which area was what animal, as it just states animal paddock which gets confusing.
Overall was a nice day but not the best soft play for a baby, was disappointed.

We're glad to hear that you found aspects of our indoor and outdoor play areas enjoyable. In regards to the outdoor play area, we have a large section suitable for toddlers including the baby swings, small slide, bee rockers, climbing frame with tunnel etc.
Sadly, due to the unprecedented bad weather we’ve had recently our pathways are muddier than usual. We understand the challenges of navigating with a pram and we have plans to make our paths a lot more accessible.
Please know that your feedback has been shared with our management team, and we are committed to making the necessary improvements to better accommodate families with children of all ages.

Yes for some areas but maybe only 35/40% - There are also Slopes on the concrete tracks so need a strong person to push!

Yes we are, we're about six miles south of Stamford.
I think the easiest way to get to us from Spalding is to take the A15 to Peterborough and then the A47 towards Leicester.
