Couple of beers as was visiting before a conference in Harrogate.
Great selection of ales and friendly bar man who was happy to recommend other places to visit locally.
Even returned for a night cap before heading to the hotel.

This is a great little bar with a good selection of ales, lovely ambiance in the place I would recommend anyone visiting Harrogate to pop in and try this place out, my only small niggle is that they don’t except cash.

What a fantastic little ale bar… best bar in Harrogate. Great ales and beers.

Visit this great pub every time we visit Harrogate.
Good choice of beers and the wine was good too.
Friendly staff. The barman has an amazing memory for people's orders.

Very busy on Sunday afternoon. Nice to chat to locals and be given tips of where to visit and eat in the area.

Visited here on an early Saturday evening.
The place was bigger than I had imagined from the name.
Great selection of beer and other drinks.
Had a lovely friendly atmosphere.

A hole in the wall that you'll miss if you aren't looking for it. Limited seating on the first floor, with more seating in the cellar. Pet friendly. Great ambiance with the fireplace going. No food - just adult beverages.
