I cannot recommend this company enough! While cycling the way of the roses coast to coast with my husband the brakes on my bike failed, first the back then the front. On looking on the map for the closest cycle repair shop we found Nidderdale cycles. They were not currently repairing bikes as the company appears to be constructing a new building but Dave stopped what he was doing and got us back on the road. An absolute life saver! We would not have got very much further. After our impromptu repair we completed the 170miles to Bridlington and I will be honest the brakes have never been better, he really knows his stuff! I will definitely be using this company again once they servicing bikes again. We may even hire a tandem now I have read the excellent reviews! Thank you so much you are an absolute life saver!

Had a great day out as a couple of tandem first timers. Dave was fantastic, friendly and reassuring. He dropped the bikes off at Ripley so we were straight on to the traffic free cycle route. Made a few simple adjustments to the tendem so my wife and I were comfortable. Then gave us a few tips on where to go and away we went. Fantastic fun day out. Would definitely recommend.

We hired bikes this weekend after wanting to bike from Ripley for a while. Dave was ready with the our bikes in plenty of time in the morning and as a bonus was a really friendly guy, with great suggestions for extending our planned route to Knaresborough that really made the most of our day. Communication was excellent throughout the day and the bikes and kit were perfect for the trails in the area. Would definitely recommend and use again for a different route next time.

Hired a tandem from Dave, would definitely recommend it was a great experience. Dave is a really friendly guy who took the time to show us different routes to use.

Really wanted to say a huge thank you to Dave who made our tandem bike ride a reality. Bikes were brought to a pre-arranged pick- up point enabling immediate access to national cycle routes- perfect for less confident cyclists wanting to avoid busy roads. Suggestions and advice for routes and places to visit were great. What a perfect way to explore this beautiful part of the country.

Hired a hybrid bike at short notice. Well maintained, comfortable bike and excellent value for 5 day bike tour. Dave was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Had a great day out with family cycling up to Scar House reservoir. Stunning scenery and bits of history along the way. Mostly undulating path, with couple of nice hills, and slow final ascent, which turned into 4 mile freewheel as we headed back. Dave was very helpful, and clear in all his communications. Glad to have found him,

Dave was really helpful meeting us at the start of the Greenway cycle path, and suggesting it in the first place. Padlocks and a basic maintenance kit was provided. Bikes were in a good condition.

We hired the bikes at short notice. There was no problems with finding the bikes in Ripley carpark. The bikes were well maintained and adjusted for our various heights. We cycled a 10 mile round trip. The website gives a list of the available routes ranging from easy to hard so it allows you to make a informed choice of which route to take. We went towards Knaresbourgh which was a lovely cycle the directions we received were spot on.
