Josh greeted us and was a fantastic host, you can tell he loves his job! We were there to do the two rooms.. maniac and Montezuma.. Maniac was first.. very much like the film saw, handcuffed and blindfolded to start.. the room was decorated lovely with good theming, however the puzzles felt very overused, pictures in one bit were so faded and worn we couldn't make it out, one puzzle (mirror) was far too high for average person to see, the room also had red herrings... Now we are not fans of red herrings, especially when the rooms lack those missing pieces to actually link up the puzzles.
The temple of Montezuma was different, themed well and most puzzles were ok .. the stock puzzle and end puzzle however we're not accurate and needed some attention! This led to a large portion of time used outside of our control. Very frustrating!

Loved the Jack the Ripper room, nice level of challenge and spooky atmosphere. Host was also a good laugh too! I liked that it wasn't just codes, nice dynamic ways to solve the puzzles.

Amazing experience with the jack the ripper escape room! Host was hilarious and really got into character and made it a great day out. We really felt like we were back in the 1880s. Would definitely go again to try another room!

3 of us went to the Jack Ripper room for daughters 18th birthday. Had a great time. Failed to escape sadly but got to the last task! Will def.like to try a different room!

We did the Temple of Montezuma room (just the 2 of us), which was is the second most difficult room in the building… sadly we didn’t escape!! Will definitely be returning for another room. Would highly recommend! Big thanks to Josh for making the experience for us ☹️

So much fun even if we didn't escape! Highly recommended. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, very friendly staff and a challenging room.

Hi, Thanks for contacting us. They may be a little young for our rooms but it does depend on the whole group. Our puzzles are designed more for teenagers upwards but our lowest age is around 8 years old. If there are a good mixture of younger and older players the game can still be enjoyable for them but I would advise staying away from our Horror room 'Maniac'. I hope you enjoy your visit to the area and Maybe we will see you soon! You're more then welcome to come and let us lock you up if you like. Kirsty

Do your rooms have people who jump out or scare you? I’m really nervous and would hate to ruin the experience for my friends. Would really appreciate an honest answer as I’m not just a scaredy cat I actually will pass out.
