Called in here & ordered 2 x Old Fashioned cocktails which are normally excellent from here but their barman decided that he "does not add the orange peel as it effects the taste" well of course it does. The server did offer to add the orange but due to the look on his face which was as if we had done something wrong we decided to let them keep their cocktails & went straight across to another cocktail bar who did the Old Fashioned perfectly & it was 2 for £10 & not 2 for £12. We enjoyed using this bar as it offers good quality usually but please only allow competent & knowledgeable people to serve drinks.

Adam is now producing some fabulous small plates of food which are not that small, there is a varied selection, they are very tasty, 3 for £12 is a great deal and they are just right for sharing add to that some of the best cocktails (again on offer) in Derby and you have a great evening ahead of you.

Would really recommend a visit Cocktails are the best Asked for a martini which wasn't on the menu but was made for us with no problem and was one of the best we'd had in a long while Tried some of the shared bites on the food menu and they were fabulous Even went back a couple of hours later to try some more and the live music is a great accessory Everyone loves live music

would like to start by saying a massive thank you to kyle and all the staff! me and my husband nipped in on the off chance after walking in and out of a few other bars before going to the cinema. we walked in at 5.50pm wanting a bit of food and a nice drink, we were greeted with a very warm welcome from kyle and given a menu which said that food was only served until 6pm on a sunday.....as we were hungry we politly said we would come back another time, however the lovely chef appeared and overheard us saying this and offered to cook for us anyway despite it now being 6PM! the food was lovely. exactly what we wanted. and the staff were all incredidibly freindly. would definately recommend and we will be going back!

Great venue shame about the poor live acts. Need to get some real acts in who can sing. Lots of good talent out there but these done find them

Lovely relaxing feel to this well laid out Bar with a great choice of cocktails on offer (2 4 £12) with excellent service from Adam and his staff, will have to visit on a weekend when they offer food boards.

Popped in for drinks and a little something to eat for Mother’s Day. Had an amazing couple of hours. Great ambiance, staff are incredibly courteous and welcoming The cheese/meats/olives/homemade bread board was absolutely delicious; highly recommended it. Great selection of drinks. Live music - awesome - wonderful late afternoon/early evening. A fantastic place to go by yourself, couples, family, groups - you will not be disappointed.

Use ms to go here every week before covid. First trip back, and in hindsight, the covid regs mean no sharing of tables so I guess I shouldn’t have asked. What I didn’t expect was a rather aggressive waiter verbally attacking me like I had an attitude. More staff training required in how not to talk to customers.

We called into this bar one evening for a drink after dinner. It was tableservice and a gentleman quickly came over with the menus and explained that we push a device on the table when service is required. My partner enjoyed a Belgian beer and I had a glass of wine. We found it to be a very nice place with very pleasant service.
