Nice country park in the summer for a picnic but not the biggest to wear the dog out. Would recommend walking round twice to make the most out of parking. Car park is very busy when it is a weekend and the park is rammed. The cafe here is average but the staff are lovely and they sell puppacinos which is great. Woodland is pretty just not very big.

Nice park but parking is limited and the food concession struggled during a busy period. Play area for kids. Parking needs to be paid with a card as no phone signal for app

I've watched Cobtree decline over the years. Play equipment removed and not replaced. It really was fantastic, it was our preferred play area.
We considered Cobtree far better than Mote Park.

This is such a lovely park! Visited for a couple hours with the children and they loved the park area. The park itself is very well maintained and clean, also has a variety of equipment for different ages. Parking was easy although only option is to pay £2.30 for 6 hours. We didn’t use the cafe as the que was continuously long but it looked to be good. The toilets really let this place down, they are filthy. One toilet roll between three cubicles and almost out of soap. Real shame they aren’t being looked after as the rest of the place is amazing!

Lovely park with lots of open space and large children’s playground. Cafe is very busy and slow to get served - takeaway only today with outside tables.
Maidstone Borough Council should be ashamed of themselves for the state of the toilets. Dirty, smelly, no toilet paper, no soap in the dispensers. Still warning signs up about cleanliness for Covid the council should be doing a lot better. They are getting money from the car parking charges and rent from the café operator so spend some of it on keeping the place respectable.

My son loves coming here when we visit my parents. Climbing all over the towers, and also the playground things around the park (ie. Large swing and wobbly rope bridge).

We recently visited here it was a cold but dry day and found it ro be great especially for the children the play area and various walks are all very well set out and paths that are clear to walk for everyone,
But one massive complaint is the shop on site I guess paying a bit extra isn't bad and food wasn't priced massively high although did look good from what I see but the price of drinks is horrendous. £2.75 for one small bottle of drink is absolutely outrageous so if your after a cold drink then be prepared to get ripped off,
My advise take drinks with you and food if you think you may need it as it makes a lovely day out very very expensive indeed.

A very nice walk among many different types of trees, on well laid out paths. However, £3:25 for a Magnum ice cream! Ridiculous!! Also the coffee, simple plain black coffee, was a bit overpriced at £2:95.

Visited twice whilst in the area. My son loves the fort complex and was constantly climbing the towers and going across the rope bridges.

Cyclists are welcome, but I warn you the main roads up to the park are awful.
