An outdoor and indoor exhibition at Showborough House has been ongoing for many years but I had never heard of it, so glad we did, the sculptures and the beautiful garden setting was the best I have seen in Gloucestershire, I think the gardens made it special, there was so much foliage and a wood to walk in too with even more sculptures. It is free entry but donations welcome, hot water urns provided with sachets of tea/coffee/dairy milk and many different forms of cakes and bars, £5 each for a drink and cake which is well worth the money. Tables and chairs to use and two toilets around the side of the house. Well worth the visit. It is only open for a few weeks in the summer, we visited mid June and the gardens were wonderful.

I stumbled across this place online and it sounded just too good to be true. We visited today expecting it to be brilliant and it was even better than we had hoped. The gardens were quite large and very attractive. The sculptures were very varied and all of a very high standard. There was so much to see with something for everyone. We had a quick chat with the owner who was engaging and interested in where we had come from. We cannot recommend this highly enough and we will definitely be back again next year.

Fabulous, amazing stunning. Such a gem, we will defintitely be back next year. Can not believe that it is free! But worth a massive donation.

What an absolutely beautiful place to visit.
The gardens are perfectly manicured with stunning species of trees and plants.
The sculptures are perfectly positioned and draw your eye along the garden journey.
Such a calm and welcoming place to be.
The honesty box for drinks and snacks is a wonderful idea.
I can't believe that there is no admission fee and just donations.
Thoroughly recommend a visit

A hidden gem a must see if in area easy to get to on motorways.
Beautiful classic English garden interspersed with an array of high class sculptures from local artists (200-300) something for everyone and what's more it's FREE.
A little tricky if disabled to get around.
If you live in Worcestershire , Gloucestershire or Herefordshire it's a must see.

!One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever been round - this was so charming. It was a good size, with lots of little sections to keep you surprised round every corner. The planting was spectacular, everything seemed to be out at the moment we were there, the rustic house was a lovely back drop too. There were refreshments with an honesty box and the owner was on hand to talk about the sculptures. These are a great initiative, and maybe even one of a kind. The sculptures are there on loan for one season, from lots of local artists, and add lots of interest to the garden. Plus they are available for sale and to take away on the day. We found a wonderful, hand carved stone bird sculpture which we could not resist. We enjoyed our visit so much, and were there for 2 hours - there was old much to see. There wasn't much in the way of signage to help guide you to the house, but it was well worth it and I would recommend mid-May as a great time to go.

Some literature on the venue and the persons behind it needed..Signage could be improved.but once inside well worth the long trip.lots of grasses used in the planting which enhance the exhibits.very natural setting and certainly not over tidied.Quite inspired by the sculptures and various plantings and will definitely visit again.Tea and cake very good value.

I had a quick visit to see the sculptures and they were amazing so good. Well worth the visit and will hopefully go again if they do another event like this next year.

Entry to the garden is free though adonation is welcome. The garden itself is worthy of the visit, well designed and with attractive planting. However, the major reason for its opening is the array of different sculptures on display. These are available for sale and vary in type and indeed price, though many can accurately be called affordable. Whether buying or just looking the garden is certainly worth a visit.
