Stayed here for two night great stopover shower was nice and warm pub on site reasonable priced owners were very accommodating will be back

Stayed 4 nights touring caravan excellent location the river is beautiful
Pub/restaurant was brilliant steak and ale pie was cooked perfectly

Quiet December time, Clean and tidy park and facilities.Level pitch. Nice bar area (didn't eat there). Static homes lit up for Christmas. Good playpark and riverbank for children. Fishing onsite. Easy walk across 2 fields to Scorton from the river bridge. Another playground here. 3 churches. Spar shop. Priory eaterie. The Barn for eating, gifts and ice cream, and plants outside. Up Snowhill is Applestore Cafe and Nicky Nook walk and fishing lake. Trains and motorway noise may affect some people, also the pylon on site. This didn't bother us.

Really fed up. Don’t waste your money..
the electric is the worst I have been on.
We can’t cook anything outside with the electric socket as soon as we try and turn it on the electric trips!
Same as inside, just a tv on at 7:30pm and all tried doing is turn on the breville and trips the electric and turns everything off all again. What a pain in arse at night having to keep going out and turning it back on for it to turn off again!!
Not good. The electric supply is weak as anything and everybody next to us has the same issue.
We have been all over and never had this issue.
Been on here numerous times and done nothing but preserve with it hoping it would improve but sadly it has not and the owner has no desire to improve it so I’m afraid we won’t ever be coming back on here again.

Not been to this site for a good few years last time was in a tent this time In campervan . The site is lovely , beautiful surroundings and love the walk along the canal into garstang. The shower facilities clean and everything you need . The bar area and garden is lovely . The only problem which isn’t really the sites fault but should be monitored was the fact dogs are allowed but must be kept on lead our two dogs were ( all of the time ) however 2 dogs were off leads and wandering about now and again yes they mite be well behaved but when they are coming over to your pitch it causes problems for our dogs who are tied up also they weren’t keeping sn eye on them when they were pitching up so could have done their pooh anywhere and they wouldn’t have know their dog had . Some mustn’t clean up after them as their was pooh down near the river which isn’t good as children were playing down there . We always clean up after ours . We will be back as it’s a lovely site just a shame people think the rules don’t apply to them !!

Just spent a wonderful weekend at Claylands caravan and camping site. We had 3x 2 man tents and the plot sizes provided were more than adequate with our cars parked next to the tents. First of all the setting is amazing, in beautiful countryside, close to Garstang and Lancaster with great transport links.
There is a bar and restaurant on site, which we frequented each night (would be rude not to) and we were not disappointed. Really friendly staff and the best food ever.
The other facilities were of a very high standard and I have to say the cleanest toilet/shower block we have been in. Especially liked the music played in there.
There’s a mix of visitors on holiday and people who have their own stunning accommodation on the site. We found everyone to be really friendly.
Dogs were allowed in the bar area, but may have to leave if entertainment is on.
There’s also a lovely park for children and fishing lakes if that’s your thing.
We would highly recommend Claylands and we will definitely be back.

2 adults touring.. The site is well presented and tidy, the showers and toilets are warm and clean and totally happy with our stay.. Also forgot to ask for a checkout time so rang the office and was told to stay a couple of hours by the owner. Stepping stones is a nice little touch and defo worth popping in, the steak and stroganoff were both amazing! See you again very soon

We arrived in our mk5 transit camper redemption staff are really friendly campsite is so clean couldn’t believe how nice it was toilet area nice and clean and with loverly showers the bar and restaurant was spot on highly recommend this place to everyone the staff are very polite and very cheap prices

We stayed here for four nights in our tourer. We picked the site to use as a base to visit Blackpool Illuminations, but really liked the surrounding area and Morecambe too. Lovely location but a few things I wish I had known about are the frequency and proximity of the railway track, and the buzzing pylon which was our view (!). Pitches quite close together also. The on site pub is lovely and does great food. Play park is brilliant for the kids, and husband enjoyed fishing. Would probably visit again to explore more of Lancashire, and when there is entertainment on :-)

Just had a 2 night stay in our tourer. Absolutely fantastic place . Very clean and tidy . Excellent pitch which was fully serviced. All staff very friendly. Had a meal from stepping stones and have to say it was delicious and good potion sizes . All in all its 5 star from us . Already looking forward to going back. Welcome to all the staff.

Hi , are BBQ’s / firepit allowed
Good Afternoon, we do allow BBQ's as long as they are raised off the ground, away from tents and put out safely after use, unfortunately however we do not allow firepits. If you need any more information please do not hesitate to call us on 01524 791242 Thanks

Is there a bus service from the top of the lane into Garstang if so what number and how frequent ?
Hi, yes there is a bus stop at the end of the road and it is bus 40 & 41, we do have copies of bus timetable, please send me your email address and I shall send a copy across to you.

Hi. We have 4 ponds at Claylands that are reasonably well stocked. Your ticket which can be purchased from reception or the shop is £6 per rod per day. ( if holidaying on the park then discount is given for longer periods). Your ticket allows you to fish all of the ponds. NO KEEP NETS. Beginners always welcome but under 11's must be supervised. Over 12's require a rod licence - purchase online or from post office. Toilet facilities and a shop are available. Fishing equipment is not for sale however some bait ( not live) are available to purchase. The neatest live bait and tackle shop is 5 minutes away in garstang.

Yes for fishing. Ticket £6 per rod per day purchased from reception or our shop. For a bigger fishing location we offer the same at Foxhouses park. £7. Wharf X 2 and Quarry lakes are well stocked and popular for matches but that is restricted to just one of the 3 lakes. Additional information on 01524 791242. Thank you
