we will be arriving by train on July 1 St-Emilion train station. We would like to see the catacombs, have lunch, and do some wine tasting. Is this something that we can do on our own or should be use a tour guide? Should we make reservations for lunch and tours if we go on our own? thanx, John and Christine
Dear John and Christine,
We organize semi private wine tours including transport from Bordeaux city centre, wine visits and tastings. So if you go by train to Saint-Emilion I recommend you to contact the Tourism Office in Saint-Emilion to book a guided visit of the underground monuments and they will also inform you about the châteaux available for a visit and tasting.
If you want to reserve a wine tour leaving from Bordeaux including transport in a minivan driven by a licensed guide, wine tasting and the visit of the monolothic church you will find our tour on the Bordeaux 360 web site.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards
Lucien Gabillaud
